It's essential to have shoes for different purposes because we will always have shoes on throughout your course. We don't go barefoot in the woods because we don't want to injure our primary form of transportation - our feet! Types of footwear include hiking boots, running shoes, river crossing shoes, and close-toed camp shoes. Crocs and Croc-like shoes qualify as close-toed.
