No, they’re intentionally getting themselves captured by Snatchers so that they can bust the hives later. They wear breathing apparatuses that keeps them from succumbing to the cacoon’s effects, and then break their way out, plant a bomb and bust the Swarm hives. Hence why they are Hivebusters
