@@shaneo7280 monster hunter is a game based on hunting monsters in a fantasy type world, it could work like as if the cog made a portal to monster hunter world or some shit, the wakaatu here looks perfect for monster hunter
@9ine9ine1ne stoopid Yeah, would be fine it they switched both lengths. They definitely are a great group and they are so fun to play as. Hope they will get their own campaign in the future :c
I didn’t mind the open world part of the game, but the decision making is what got me iffy about the campaign. However, I will say Hivebusters is a good refreshing feel compared to the campaign we got.
No, it's not wrong that you say that, this DLC is more about the essence of Gears, the main campaign wanted to show us how the environment and music was improved, they did well but that wasn't gears at all, this campaign take us into a dark and gloomy environment, the elements that were absent.
Too be honest this ending was awesome the flying bird glad it will live another day anyway awesome creature I hope the acid it makes can kill the swarm for good tho probably the best ending than that difficult choice option i hope gears 6 finds a way to make JD and del has there on personal walk-through in gears 6
Yeah right? The ending to the original trilogy is kind of like a Disney ending. It's outrageous that this DLC is way more interesting than Gears 4 and 5 lol.
@@christiansanchez1785 it was easier to have the locusts come back in some form and i did like that they tried to do a super mutant like story and what the imulsion did to them actually makes them harder to exterminate and poding humans kinda make sense because they was originally human
@@Neomerica-1993 Exactly, I like the idea of the swarm. They could be more threatening. I feel like wretches and Theron guards were iconic enemies in the series. The swarm needs cooler enemy variants and more depth to the characters but it's kinda late now I guess. There's only one more game to go.
@@christiansanchez1785 but the biggest plot hole is how the imulsion countermeasure was able to encompass the planet because what I’m understanding is that sera is bigger than earth and you would need multiple to cover the planet and the countermeasure is like a pulse so it would have be multiple devices because setting a nuclear weapon off will use air currents to send radiation all the way to the other side of the planet because that’s how nato knew about the Chernobyl disaster
I love the game ending how the team was building up the tension between the team are their back stories i didn't knew that mac join up the cod due his son was dead and that he had a son so much better then the main campaign in my opinion still waiting for gears 6 I think its the last one of the gears series.
@@funkyreapercat5280 in the remastered version of gears of War one you can see him floating in all of the emulsion, he could always make a comeback if they let him.
2 months late but, They deliberately get captured so they can enter the heart of a hive, plant the bombs, escape and do it all over again. Hence the game mode: Escape
1. The whole point of this DLC was to show how Hoffman got Scorpio Squad on the fight. 2. Jinn was fighting the Swarm using only DBs and COG soldiers. It wasn't working. 3. Hoffman got intel about an ancient monster from Paharu Island who kept the island free of Swarm. 4. He assembled Scorpio Squad to find out about the Wakaatu Monster. 5. The Wakaatu Monster produced a toxin that could eliminate organic matter at an alarming rate and thus, exterminate the Swarm. 6. After defeating the Wakaatu Monster, Scorpio collected the sample of the toxin from its gland. They let the bird live, in case they needed more samples in the future. 7. They reverse engineered the toxin and used it against the Swarm. Play Escape Mode.
