The fact that they made it a choice how long to punch them in the face / beat them with their arm is the best thing ever. They're finally giving us a way to properly humiliate the last man standing.

@iStreetKid Flaming weapons you can only get in beta, if you have the veteran gears achievement you get all gold guns excluding the pistol on release day. If you;re not a veteran gear you can get gold gnasher by playing in first week and golden SO by beating gears 1 on the hardest difficulty. Other than that you can buy the gears 3 controller or epic edition for the final weapon camo pack and have all the camos.

As a veteran gears player, I can't tell you how much it hurt to watch this

@LJK36O No, like i said, Epic changed it. It is now the Gold Lancer and Hammerburst for week 1, and the gold gnasher is exclusive for Veteran Gears. People raged on the forum that there was no real exclusive for VG, so EPIC had to change it. This all happened in like mid-august.

@ThatK3wlGuy because in this game when you have "second chance" you can't shoot back which you can in black ops.. and in black ops it's an option not to choose it, but in this everyone has that "ability"

@iStreetKid which ones? the flaming ones are only in the beta and so is the golden retro lancer but everything else you can unlock in game

@PureBlindMan camo for the shotty, and there is camo for every gun

@xBiocide I had gears 2 and the x was curbstomp and the extended weapon one was y but when he had skorcher i know it has boss execution but he does beatdown when i assume x is the curbstomp it might just be i dont see him switching to cog pistol and hold y

@94Villa in later weeks of the beta other gamemodes will come out king of the hill capture the flag etc

you should really do more of the animated weapon execution. like flamethrower or digger and stuff

@ic0mbati u obviously havent used it enough. The Gnasher is really inconsistent. Plus, when u hipfire the sawed-off, if they're in front of u, they're dead. Im not saying the Gnasher is totally out done, but the Sawed-off NEEDS to be tweaked a little, or become a pick up

I hope they fixed the head popping before your fist actually makes contact...

@Aellis4 yeah they changed it because so many people on the forums were raging that you could get the gold gnasher a different way.

i dont understand the point of ink grenades, they dont kill to often, are they suppose to be like ways of keeping an enemy from going to a certain area?

@djdaredevil27 If you have played the beta or seen enough gameplay would you say that Gears 3 has improved multiplayer wise. I'm going to get a xbox 360 soon and i was thinking about getting this, so what do you think about the game? Personally I like it alot

they need to do 1 more slight thing for polish. when killing or doing executions they should let blood stain on your armor or skin,or even your face and weapon.

@Kerplunk990 Are you sure that the golden gnasher is for veterans only? Because if they made it available for the first week people, it wouldnt be a real veteran player having it. hope they only give it to people with the vg achievement so its more exclusive.

I love the beta but there are two things keeping it from being amazing. They probably won't fix these things bit they need to nerf the sawed off shotgun or get rid of it, and they need to put more ammo in the guns(gnasher). I swear that more than half my deaths are from the sawed off and from me running around trying to find ammo!

@hockeyboy87yang its KOTH and you only get it if u had one of the super early codes the rest of us folks (BS'rs included) have to wait till they periodically release sections.
