Gears of War: the Card Game - How to Play (in 9 Minutes)
Addendum for Clarification:
1. The Best Way to set up the cards is to go through them all and separate them by chapter (showing on the Card's bottom) starting with the core, then 1-15. ..then rubber band those seperately
2. The combat phase - should be referred to by the acronym "MAC-Dr" - Move to/Attack Cover or Direct attack from cover (while REserve can block)
(...matter fact, make that MAC DRE -
YanadaMean, know whatIm Thizzlin)
3. If you Kill a cover Unit, you replace them at that Cover card (of course on your side)
4. When taking Direct Damage you can choose to discard or draw the top 2 cards of your deck

Wish this game could be soloed. I would definitely pick it up then. GOW is my favorite game ever.

I play through the whole game solo, playing as both players (on my channel), it kinda works. Wish there was a true solo ...but kinda works

U can’t use ink grenade as a reaction as that is a tactic card not a reaction card

Yeah 7:57, just grabbed that quickly, it was looking like a reaction card, but yes Reactions need the Exclamation Point in the corner ...nice catch

when does a card move into enemy cover? that part is not clear in the guide

You can move into enemy cover when you attack from cover (declaring a direct attack) - p. 34 (chapter 3)

@PerPs10 yeah, but no. Like I keep saying, the rules leave something to be desired. I WAS supposed to upload my quickplay to boardGameGeek by now, but hopefully any day now. But yeah, they add rules by chapter, but ...uuunnnghhh
