Absolutely love the step up in production quality, but love that it isn't so big a step up that the lowkey, chill, late-night aesthetic of the channel isnt lost at all. Can't wait for more from you dude.
Oh man this video is great! I LOVED that NY dumpster joke! PLEASE make more stuff about this scary cringey era of geek culture (maybe about Kagerou Project, that was so cringey to looking back at).
Love your content! You discuss really interesting, niche topics not usually discussed in the realm of gaming. Been here since the Konami E3 2010 retrospective!
Dude, Joey had it going on. Get as far away from your parents as possible bro. Because if that first girl showed up to meeting your parents in the harem pants Final Fantasy fit his dad is going to think she’s an Algerian harem girl and ask how much you bought her for. Joey, fix this up.
"what I'm saying is that being a Star Trek fan is a lot like being gay." as a gay star trek fan i support this message. especially considering the history of kirk/spock shipping lol. but for real, i do see a lot of the same automatic defensiveness in queer spaces as i used to when i inhabited more "nerdy" spaces at school. Back then, I learned pretty fast that having common interests with someone did not prevent them from being a dick, so the idea of going to a nerds-only space to make friends - never mind dating - seemed like it had the same potential to go wrong as anything else. This whole era of "nerd culture" was so bizarre. the cringe is oozing out of this video tbh but there's something kind of wholesome about most of it. besides ryan. the genuine enthusiasm people had for their odd little hobbies is cute. in a cringey way. but still cute
Oh I almost forgot, I showed the girl with a weird accent to a friend from the NYC metro area and he thinks it's probably Long Island and that "definately Italian-American".
Ryan Glitch has been reported to the Council. He is awaiting trial under the threat of first name revoking. From my perspective, he has been deemed unworthy of the title.
Sheesh. I didn't knew this show. But just the little I saw was enough to give me plenty of second-hand embarrasment, specially the comments of the guy who was suppoused to introduce the candidates... yikes.
I really don't get how you can be this obsessive DC hyperfan and not know Red Tornado. He shows up fairly frequently in DC stuff, a solid C Lister. I'm officially gatekeeping Jimmy.
