Geelong and Sydney will meet in the 2022 AFL Grand Final. Geelong finished minor Premiers whilst Sydney finished in third spot on the ladder.
The game should be a hotly contented match in which both teams will be going in with confidence due to their current winning streaks (Geelong with 15 wins and Sydney with 9 straight wins).

Swans will smash the Cats. Too fast, two way running, too many fast smalls, 10 of Cats best 12 are over 30. Swans best defence, number one tackling team, number one pressure acts team, best 3qtr team, best goals from intercepts team. Cats flogged Cats by 33 points last tine, this will be 24 points + MCG no advantage and Swans number 1 travel team. Going to be a boil.over.

As a Bombers supporter and from Melbourne, I really do hope Geelong can beat Sydney. According to the past Geelong have good record against the interstate teams in the Grand Final. I reckon Geelong deserves to win it. Sydney Swans is so overrated.

Neutral supporter for this GF. Wonder how much difference it makes for both teams preparations. Geelong had two "home" finals to reach GF whereas Swans had travel away days, an "away" GF plus one day less preparation - how much does this affect mental preparation? Opinions? Thoughts? Might be a neutral for this GF but have to say both teams deserve their place

I think given Swans played the PF at home rather than away, probably not much. Swans are very used to travelling.

Im a Collingwood fan who drove 7-8 hours to sydney to watch the prelim and next week I will be the most passionate Geelong supporter you’ll ever see. The swans fans are absolutely feral (not that we can talk much) but they were so feral and they were absolute gronks. So GO GEELONG 💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍

Don’t agree with your feral comment. It was a great atmosphere. I was in bay two near a large group of Collingwood supporters and we all got on well. At the end of the game when the Collingwood players did their lap the Swans supporters clapped the Collingwood players for their part in a great game. We were feral at the umpires. The focus will no doubt be on the last 15 sec but there were so many missed free kicks IMHO throughtout the game but that is footy.
