GeForce RTX 2060 Super Test in 10 Games 1080p 1440p and 4K

I am too lazy to write this but for the sake of gamers I will. I am using the 2060super EX by kfa2 since April 2020 and I have a 144hz 1440p monitor and also a 144hz 1080p monitor. I have over 130 games on steam ( using since 2010 ) and I am very happy with this build. I use ryzen 5 3600 on 4.00 ghz and I can paly anything on 1440p. here is one TIP: NEVER use PRE SETS OF GRAPHIC SETTINGS. Never use " High " settings and leave it. Just go into your settings by yourself and find the perfect mix to get the best amount of FPS. Sometimes turning your shadows to " normal " and something else from high to normal, can give you up to 10fps. Its not about the pre sets. just find your own perfect mix. If i use preset " very high " on AC Odyssey I get 50-54fps. But when I mix it myself I get 65fps, When I overclock I get to 71fps. This card is a wonderful one. I still think Maybe I get the 3070RTX but for now, as we all know, they are overpriced up to 800€. I wont pay that much. I paid 390€ for my 2060super and it gives me 1440p Gaming. Here are some of my memories about my games and their FPS. here is what i remember : 1440p Witcher 3 - High settings MIXED with Very High I got over 70FPS constantly. 1440p SQUAD - High, very high and epic mix up to 105 FPS 1440p on all anime games ( most of them are locked on 60fps ) I get fluent 60fps for example : dbz kakarot everything maxed fluent 60fps / naruto storm 2, storm3, storm 4, shinobi striker fluent 60fps on maxed settings. 1440p Octopath Traveler maxed 60fps fluent. 1440p Insurgency sandstorm high to very high preset I got over 90fps fluent 1440p jump force maxed settings fluent 60fps, no fps drops. 1440p need for speed heat high settings mix with some " normals " I get 68 to 75fps 1440p far cry 5 high settings over 80fps fluent 1440p hellblade senua's sacrifice maxed out, 60fps fluent. no drops. 1440p metro exodus with rtx on normal, I could play it with 65 to 72fps which is completely fine cause its single player game and it is perfect not to drop under 60fps. 1440p AC Origins high to very high mix = 74 to 82fps 1440p devil may cry 5 on high to very high fluent 60fps. no drops at all. I bought cyberpunk yesterday but due so much work I have barely time. When I play it in a few days, I will update this comment. if you have a 2060super you dont have to upgrade it. 1440p gaming is perfectly fine.

4x MSAA is super demanding (Dirt 2) because I am playing 1440p Ultra above 60fps but without MSAA, just FXAA and no TAA. Good job on the vids, I like your gameplays and you settings for the various resolutions.

Just got this card, paired with a Ryzen 7 2700X. Upgraded from a Radeon RX580 and the improvement is staggering. Using in 1080p, but at least now I can justify 2K monitor use without heavily sacrificing performance.

METRO Exodus: 34:59 IN 4K : ! The VRAM is at 4.5 Gb, but the graphic card has 8 Gb. ! The processor is at 24-35%... ! The Memory Ram is at 6-7 Gb, but you have 32 Gb. Still, i don't understand why the fps is so low if you have so much ram, procesor and graphic card...

It's one of the best cpu GPU combo out there. I only game on 1080p 144hz but I'm surprised that it's working smoothly even on 4k. So glad that I invested in this. Great video 👍

1440p high settings (not ultra or highest) is probably the optimal choice for this combo. I have the same GPU and CPU. I’m using 3600mhz ram though

Good to know pubg on 4k (even tho I'm not really planning on playing it on 4k because I need more fps) looks good and can handle over 60fps on competitive settings

Props on the video tho, because I'm currently looking out into the difference in performance btw RTX 2060 and RTX 2070 max-q. It's truly as I found online, mostly a 6%~10% difference. I'm Gonna be the smart guy and get a new laptop in January instead of waiting 6 more months for the 3000 series to actually hit the market. (scalpers problem)

You have Odyssey running with v-sync on so the frames are capped to 60. Guaruntee that this card can push way more than that at 1080p and 1440p.

Great video, my advice :get a new cooler, I have the corsair rgb i100 pro liquid 2 fans 120mm for my 3700x and max temp is 53 degrees. And you should OC your gpu get more frames, I get 150 stable frames on pubg at 2050 mhz. I'm not bragging, is just everyone uses the stock cooler and it's kinda shity lol. Cheers.

I saw in the description you got 2 of the 1tb Seagates, why not settle for an ssd and one of the seagates but have slightly slower ram? Considering you don’t need to have multiple programs up and can have MUCH faster loading times.

RTX 2060 Super is basically like PS4 Pro. 4k 30fps.

I also have an RTX 2060 Super. It can run gta v very well but It can barely run Minecraft with shaders... it only runs it with 20 FPS maximum... why is it so. And btw my parts are: 16GB Ram 3600 Megahertz from Crucial Msi MPG x570 Gaming Edge wifi AMD ryzen 5 3600x RTX 2060 Super 8GB OC edition

I'm mostly buying a 2060 super because my GTX 970 is getting quite old haha and I don't have the money "yet" to buy a 2080 or even a 3080, that will come later though. the 970 served me well though, almost 6 long years of service and it's still going decent to this day, but unfortunately... there is Cyberpunk 2077 who's coming in November and that game will be DirectX 12 only and needless to say that the 970, while it can play DX12 games technically just fine, doesn't perform all that well with that API compared to DX11 so yeah... gotta need a new GPU that can support DX12 properly and most importantly natively hehe

V sync sucks turned mine off in GTA 5. Went from struggling to keep it at 60fps to around 100. Doom was the same stuck at solid 60fps v sync off banging out solid 200 FPS. 2060 super is a good card for 1080 and 1440 it can do 4k but to be honest most people probably don't have 4k monitor so it's like why drop over 1k on the most powerful card you know.
