always surprised how good 1080p can actually look on a 1080 monitor. I game at 1440 but I have a second monitor (portrait mode) that is 1080 and sometimes for fun I'll use it to game and it always surprises me that it looks just fine. 1080 on a 1440 monitor looks awful, but on a 1080 monitor it looks fine.
Is the 4060 card enough for a comfortable game in A Plague Tale: Requiem at 1080p+ultra settings+Ray Tracing+dlss? Or is it better to pay extra and get a 4060ti?
It depends on a game really. For example, Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2 has a very poor TAA implementations, and DLSS will look better even at 1080p due to a superior built-in anti-aliasing. However, some other games, like Warzone for example, can look a bit blurry in motion with DLSS at 1080p.
i have a question your other video back in july you were doing a rtx 3060 12gb vs rtx 4060 8gb and that other video was getting alot more fps in your rtx 4060 but then you posted this video and the gpu seems to be running super slow did anything happend to the gpu or you did something to make the gpu run slow?
@not_vitz3787 first of all, in this video all games were tested with ray tracing enabled and DLSS Frame Generation disabled. Second of all, there are a few games (Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3 etc) which uses the same settings in both videos and the performance in those games is the same in both videos.
So its bad overall. Still with recent price drops can't justify buying 3060 or 7600 over it. Btw why is Control stuttering? Vram, Ram and Cpu load is totaly fine
@@Liszt_1811 but allocated memory is only 5gb, and only 4gb used. Even if some memory is swapping to RAM, it shouldn't be so few. Either the game works with vram badly or it's not exactly the problem.
Its with RT on, RT reduces performance by 30+% avg, thats why we have dlss and fg to balance them out but in this video dlss and fg was not used and rt was on
