Those Gelly Rolls flow SUPER DUPER fast! I find them EXTREMEMLY hard to use to fill in spaces with. I like to use the more for line work😉. These videos are awesome!!

Thanks Jennifer. This is the ONE technique that for some reason I just could not grasp until I watched this video. Now wouldn't you think it would be one of the easiest to understand? Weird, huh? But NOW I get it! I am going to go and scribble blend right now! :)

I have found I can use the refills without the outside pen part as skinny pens with the same control. Easy on the budget and expands my color choices! I love your videos, very helpful!

Hello, I just wanted to thank you for being such an amazing teacher of these techniques. After watching other channels I find that you are so much more complete and explain things so much more thoroughly and clearly. I really appreciate the work you put into your channel. I find if I hold my gel pens straight up instead of at a slant. They will flow very nicely and not scratch the paper or stop flowing. Thank you for the series.

+TWEETY K, good tip! I have found that works with some of my pens too...but not all of them. My problem is that I find that to be very unnatural for sketching and drawing. It works fine for coloring though. Thanks for watching and thanks again for the tip.

I really like the 3 color blends that you did. It seemed that you had a harder time with the blends when using the Sakura Gelly Rolls...is that true?

Which brand of gel pens is your favorite? I know you have Gel Writers and Sakura. I have both, as well. My absolute favorite pen is my Sakura #700. I use it with pretty much all of my coloring when I want to add a little Stardust shimmer.

+Gadget Girl66, oh yes...those are lovely! I don't have a favorite yet...except for maybe the dollar store gold, lol. I really like the GelWriter and Sakura brands, but I haven't tried enough to say strongly that they are the best.

Hi, thanks very much for doing this video. When you say “scribble” blending and from what it looks like on the shapes you’ve done, does scribble blending mean that when first laying down a colour, you draw it very loose and have little gaps in between here and there, rather than when you normally do a colour, you would apply it fairly tightly, with no gaps and have a fairly even, smooth, full coloured section that would take longer to do and where you have to worry about streaking and where one section you’ve coloured joins (in the same colour and same part you’re colouring) so you can’t see the “join marks”. Is that what scribble blending means - not doing a colour solid?

I find a lot of things on line to print . I want to no what kind of paper to print on thats best with gel pens. Cardstock? cheap print paper or your higher price print paper. And what weight of paper.

+natalie freeman, the nails come from KISS. They are glue on artificial nails and I LOVE them! My nails won't grow anymore because of medications I am on, so the KISS nails have become my solution.
