That's too funny! What timing. you can get beautiful prints from this technique. Like I said, just requires patience and I was low on it. lol When in the mood I would like to play around with it some more. I think you could get some stunning pieces.

Yes! I was thinking that when I was doing it. ( the ink that comes off the stencil) Loved that part. Are you asking about both? Or just the flowers? I used both. I used a mandala and that was a Crafters Workshop. Then on the one with the metallic alcohol ink I used two flowers and they were from Stencil Girl. Not sure where I got it, it was quite some time ago.

lol Peach Bellini is a Ranger Alcohol Ink. I would think the sponges would just soak up the ink! Wouldn't it? ooooh the salt idea could be quite cool!!! Thanks

Thank you. Alcohol Ink will stain your gel plate but it will not affect your future prints. So no worries.

Hi Lindsey. I am 99% sure they are totally fine to be worked on top of. I can't see anything making it react once it's dry. Well alcohol I'm sure would. I remember once Birgit Koopsen had a 30 day challenge where we used a different medium every day. I did it all on one piece and alcohol ink was among it. I don't recall having any problems. you could always grab a scrap piece of paper and throw some alcohol ink on it, just to test, not to be pretty. Then try different things on it before moving to something you love.

if you apply the paint while the alcohol ink is wet it will just mix in with the paint. I'm not sure how long I waited, this video is a little older and my memory is not the best. lol But it wasn't long. You can usually tell by looking if the it'is wet or not. You get it to pull up by adding that thin layer of paint.

I've tried Yupo paper before. But I did not try this technique with Yupo.
