Fabulous. This video was very informative. I had this idea, but I am often reluctant to try new techniques. Another technique for using acrylic paint and embossing folders together. Thank you for sharing and encouraging me.
I've subscribed to your channel. Enjoyed this one very much. I have some embossing folders too that are gathering dust. I noticed the backs of all your prints too..they were equally as lovely. And love the music. Look forward to more😀
I’m a novice with the gel plate - great to see a more ordered look - I don’t like the multi layered looks (yet!) so this looks more doable and the results more useable ! Thank you
Absolutely fabulous idea 💡 😀 how to use the embossing folders. In my house they were only collecting dust until now, not any more. Thank you Teresa for sharing it with us. ❤
What a great idea! You always have such great colour combos too. And may I just say, I get the most amazing songs for my music playlist from your videos!
i've been binging your videos to learn all i can do with a gel plate (my new xmas toy), and i'm tickled to see you have a lot of the stuff i have!! (old embossing folders for example) You are magical and i'm thoroughly enjoying learning from you!! your prints are beautiful and i appreciate you showing the finished product made into a project/card!!! awesome!! thanks for sharing your talents.
YeatesMakes has been doing a similar thing with gel plates but embossing his card by hand with a ballpoint pen.Definitely going to try this with the embossing folders (because my ballpoint pen skills are absent.)
One thing I'm confused about is when to put the image straight onto the paper and when to paint over it and pull it off. Is it just a matter of deciding what I want the background to look like?
Hoping to make some of these with my embossing folders tomorrow! Anyone tried this with the newer 3D embossing folders? I wish I had crafting friends so we could trade some embossed cardstock to use for gelli printing...
