Hi! So I watch your videos all the time and I admire your talent. I have been doing my own nails using dipping powder for about 7 months but you inspired me to do better so I bought some hard gel and I did my own nails last night and tried to do them how you teach to. They arent perfect and my non dominant hand was super hard and it took me a long time but I wanted to show you what you motivated me to do. I can't figure out how to leave a picture so instead I just say thank you for the time and effort you put in to these videos because you really do motivate and inspire me!

I’m so glad you mentioned the bendy nails, happy medium aspect! I broke my finger years ago and ignored it for ages and now have a finger that does it’s own thing! And it’s not straight! So detailed and such good explanations. I truly am amazed at how much some nail techs know about anatomy and what looks good and happy mediums. I have limited experience going to salons because I've never been satisfied with results. I am very detail oriented and picky about results. I'd rather do a mediocre job at home than pay for a bad salon experience, especially these days. I wish everyone was as good as you, it's worth the price of skill and knowledge over a cheap deal. This helps me learn so much. You really are an amazing technician and teacher!!

Thank you SO MUCH! For this tutorial. I am relatively new Technician and I am struggling with getting my almond shape to look narrow. It seems good but then when I put the colour and top coat, it looks bulky and like a round shape😔 This tutorial helps. I would love to see you tips on shaping an almond nail soon!😁💓 You are a fabulous teacher and I enjoy all of your videos💗

A bit more filing definitely will help. I find it that had a same trouble when applying gel polish over. I an extra few moves of file sorted it 😁

I loved this video, I think you are an amazing teacher. I got my products from your website and here in the freezing cold weather they are extremely nice to work with. My only complaint is I wish I got the color you used today, I got the light pink which is beautiful but I’m a little too dark for it lol. And I wish I got the bigger jar. But next time I’m going to get all colors in the big pots. I love them. Thank you 🙏🏽.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I love to follow your videos and work. A question though... sometimes you have the brush and the gel without lid directly in front of the lamp. Shouldn't the gel get destroyed? I worry about that all the time.

Yes gel and brush need to be away from light, if to close (even if it is sun light) it will cure. Then the brush get destroyed.

I have seen some people use a base coat before applying the sculpting gel. Do you recommend that or is that just a wasted step?

Universal air bond is my base. It acts as double sided tape. Yes if system says use base then use base. I like Universal air bond as it dry in the air
