I really like your styrofoam stamp. This is a new concept to me and very achievable, thank you. I also like how you mask off your gel plate to keep the mess under control. I have an overly large one, I will be using this idea.

Hi thx so much for your comment & question... so glad you enjoyed the video. I use the Mont Marte cheap acrylic paints in tubes and the larger bottle paints are the Mont Marte Poster Paints which are a very fluid Tempera Style Paint. These Poster Paints stay open for a longer time than the normal acrylics and lend themselves to so many options on the Gelli Plate... making them just wonderful to use...Enjoy! x

I wanted to add I’ve dabbled in styrofoam stamp making. What type of paint did you use on the gel plate (the large bottles pink, blue, purple at the beginning)? Also I’ve gotten styrofoam trays at the dollar store in a large pack for $1. Yours appeared bigger. Did you use the whole tray for the flower or just a part? Also never thought of cutting the stamp after printing a background. Thanks so much! I hope you keep posting and wish you much success!!

Thank you so very much... So glad my video was enjoyable & helpful for you...The Paints in the large bottles were Mont Marte Poster Paints, they are very fluid and allow lots of time to work with them... Also, I cut the bottom of the styrofoam tray out first, then cut the styrofoam down to the size I required, in this case it was roughly an A6 size equalling a quarter of an A4 sheet... The Poster Paint was sold to me as Acrylic Pouring Paint however, thx to your question I just found the Paints description as follows: Description Mont Marte's Poster Paint is a tempera styled paint and is ideal for school students and art groups. With vibrant colour and a matte finish this fabulous paint... FEATURES Easy to blend and has great opacity Non toxic and washable Flip top lid for easy use... So sorry I referred to it as an acrylic paint... I thought I'd purchased an acrylic pouring Paint. lol... as I'd requested... thx you've taught me to check the ingredients etc...
