Welcome to day 22 in my video series for #GelyPostcardPlay hosted by @CeriGriffiths . This fun "challenge" involves posting a 4 x 6" postcard a day that includes at least one element of gel printing and also includes a number to indicate the date the card is posted. For today's postcard I took inspiration from ‪@RobynMcClendon‬ and her book (link below) to use Sumi ink on the gelplate (on a thin layer of wet acrylic paint, I then sprayed with isopropyl alcohol and then water before pulling with red acrylic paint once dry.

Beautiful! Robyn's book is awesome although too expensive in Australia (exchange rate is not favourable to us) and so I don't have it. Love this card - wonderful idea. xoxo

I totally understand! Our exchange rate here in Canada is not very good either. I was happy she had it listed on Amazon though so that shipping was free with my Prime membership. Thanks for watching!

This was a fun technique. Also love how you water down your posca for the edges. Thanks for sharing. Hey; you could take photocopies of the numbers 1 - 24 if you need numbered tags for a furture Christmas Calender

@@robintillotson5665 A bit of both actually. The bottle with the white top is approximately 90% alcohol and the bottle with the black top is water. I usually put text up to indicate which I was using. Thanks for watching!
