I remember seeing this as a kid. I had no idea what was happening nor what this was a parody of, but I liked it. Now I've come back to it after the time I was obsessed with it September-early November, and this is even better
The amount of effort into this makes me so happy. How the voice clips are pieced together makes it feel like an actual episode. The sound effects are on point and the animation is stunning, even getting down the slight jitter they all have even when not moving. As a person you grew up on Ed, Edd, and Eddy this is something that just brings so much nostalgia. Bravo, Lorenzoe, Bravo.
Bigblujay 97 I believe what he meant by that is The Animation looks so Good that it looks almost Exactly like the Animation style Used in the Ed Edd Eddy show
@@bigblujay9729 It is very well done. Very similar to the style that was presented on TV for the original show Ed, Edd, and Eddy. The original show, was drawn with pencil using animation stills/cells. One of the last more modern cartoons to use the style. Unlike current times, using computers and programs to animate.
This is so priceless and funny! You almost sense that Rebecca Sugar and Danny Antocinni teamed up for this parody. The shot of Peridot as Kevin was the best part; notice she says "dorks" instead of "clods". I also loved Amethyst as the crocodile.
Holy shit, the animation and sound design are on point! I love it so much, it makes it feel like an authentic Edd, Ed, n Eddy episode but with Steven Universe characters! Much love, you're tingling my nostalgia.
I missed their EE&E-like dynamic from the early seasons. Would kill for another spinoff, be it prequel or another sequel that actually focused on them as the main characters (Saying this as someone who loves Steven as a Character, but would be so interesting if in more spinoffs, he was more like a background character)
I love how they replicated the timing and the pacing of the animation from Ed, Edd n Eddy. I wonder how long it took them to be able to recreate it, it's so similar to the original hand-drawn artstyle.
This came up recommended, and at first I was hesitant to watch it. But then I actually did, and honestly, it was pretty amazing. Clever usage of Steven Universe quotes, and excellent mimicry of the Ed Edd n' Eddy style without tracing over everything. This guy's got talent.
You absolutely nailed it. The art style, the sound effect editing, the dialogue and "plot"... it's so perfect. Even the fact that Steven's voice is literally just Rolf voice clips from the show still felt natural. I rate it 10/10 jawbreakers.
