Question: My moon is 17° ♊ gem. Been wondering - Have ♐ sag sun 7° & N Node 17° sag. As we are suppose to follow our N node, what am to think of this opposite gem moon 22° w South Node so close at 17°? A full moon birthdate. Further, have a partial lunar eclipse at 6° Gemini ♊ natal. The video really resonated, but always wonder what to make of the South Node moon. Hope that's not too long. Love your videos.
@@Annette.9 I will answer your question, but it will have to be later this evening. I have a question for you though. At the beginning you said your moon was 17° Gemini, and then you asked about your opposite Gemini Moon 22° with south nodes at 17°. Did you mean to say that your moon was 22° Gemini, or 17° Gemini?

@@Annette.9 OK, here’s my semi-educated opinion. 😁 With the moon and the south node so close together, it means that your emotional pattern of relating is very familiar to you, but is not the way of relating that is best for you in this lifetime. With them both being in Gemini, it also means that your thinking is very much influenced by your emotions and vice versa. It’s difficult for you to step back and think objectively without your emotions getting in the way. It’s not a terrible thing to be emotional, of course, but we also need to be capable of thinking clearly without our emotions clouding the situation. With your north nodes in Sagittarius, what this lifetime is asking you to do is to look at the big picture. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter and it’s the sign where the centaur is shooting the arrow, which represents looking at the future. So it’s about broadening your thoughts and opening up to more mental and spiritual experience, and not relying simply on your own emotional experience. You might tend to get emotionally tangled up in your ideas and resist changing them. Gemini energy is usually very open-minded, but it can also be somewhat opinionated. When it’s combined with the moon, then, as I said, your emotions can get in the way of clear thinking. I would look at the attributes of the sign Sagittarius, and use them as a roadmap for principles that you need to incorporate into your life to take you where you really want to go. Or should I say, where you really NEED to go. And I have a feeling you’re probably used to making decisions using your intuition and your emotions, which is not a bad thing because it’s nice to be able to tap into your intuition. But since your south nodes are there, that’s telling you that you already know how to do that well enough and now you need to try the opposite for a while, and rely less on your personal opinions and more on higher thinking, i.e., other people’s ideas and perhaps read some books on different spiritual practices, (without grabbing onto one and saying, it’s the only way). Sagittarius is a very open-minded sign. I hope this makes sense!

Since moon is emotion w S Node there, better not to stick w familar personal opinions & passing feelings - Go to books, higher thinking, Jupiter broad picture, spirituality guidance & principles. Yes, will not grow if stuck in the feels or own opinions w this natal map. Try the opposite! Watch moon cycles, but seek the N Node philosophical attributed. Oh, thanks again, Laurie!
