Unlike the 29 other teams, this is the only one to have 3 versions.
Version 1 I got for Christmas back in 2021 (peak year), I believe it may have been in a flood at some point because the box was heavily water damaged, the figure did not seem to show any signs of that so that's a relief. Although it did need some repairs. The first problem was there were still batteries in it, they looked to be ancient and may have been originals from 2002. They did not leak however so that's always good. The mouth was also stuck open which was not a good sign. After taking the head off I noticed the motor was all melted, so I removed it and put a new one in. But I later found out the drive transistor for it was screwed up as well as the resistor for it, replaced them and it had functioned normally. The head and dancing needed repair as well and after light cleaning it works once more.
This Version 2 is my 2nd one. My first one I got back in June of 2018 and it needed the mouth and head repaired but I didn't fix the head until February of 2020. It was fine at first but took a turn quickly after one night I was using it with batteries and several components on the board shorted and the batteries were about to blow up due to how hot they got. My dad helped me fix it and we got it back up and running again. Then later in the year I went to wash the uniform and several pieces of the frame shattered due to it being horribly yellowed. Was able to glue most of it together but it wasn't that good and from there up until February of 2020 it was like that. One day that year I ordered an Athletics version from Amazon, and when it arrived it was a version 2 Mariners... I made a video of when I received it and the condition it was in and at first I was pretty annoyed, but then I realized I can just fix this one up and send back my original one. So I did just that and after fixing the 2nd one up here it is. It's a bit strange because I noticed it didn't have the sticker on the base like the others do and the box it had was from a Braves version... But I don't know.
Version 3 I got back in June of 2023 along with the Small Logo Orioles. The mouth mech was snapped off and it wouldn't dance but I figured out the lever wasn't in the knob, and it was like that from factory because it was never taken apart. But I fixed that and now it dances. The head gear also needed replacement and after cleaning it up it works very good and it wobbles like my V2 D-backs.
