I don't personally feel that it's a good use of gems (that's a LOT of gems!) but if there's a troop you absolutely love and have been unable to get otherwise, that would be the time to consider it.

Sadly, there are only a few ways to get deeds: 1. Adventure Board 2. Daily Offers -- Also daily offers from Arena (max 3 random offers a day) 3. Your guild completing tasks every week 4. Craft them with writs (although I HIGHLY suggest saving writs for crafting Imperial Deeds!)
Hey genki :) My kingdoms are sitting around lvl 11-14 and I want to craft some more deeds. I could be mistaken here, but I swear I remember you talking in a recent stream about saving your writs. Can you elaborate on when/why it's appropriate to do that?
It's generally best to save your writs for crafting either Imperials or Forge Scrolls. The only time I used writs for deeds was when I was desperate to get a power level up, and only needed the one deed.
I've been playing GOW on and off for years. And I still don't understand how the Fk to play it. I just like matching shit up and winging it. Beyond that, I haven't a clue what's going on.
