Gen-2 Video Ai is AMAZING but CURSED 

As this technology improves, I hope we don't lose access to these older versions as I feel getting this horrific surrealism will become more difficult as the models get better at interpreting what we want and as someone that loves horror content, that would be a shame.

Lots of shapeshifting going on, like it can't quite figure out what it wants. Like the dog cheese one it almost seems like he's trying to evolve into a tiger but the Pokemon' trainer is force feeding him Nacho cheese (cause everyone knows that's how you cancel evolutions).

I've got an idea. How about a city through time? Like it starts off as a street from the 1900s and there's horses and smoke and old buildings and then it goes through the decades and we end up in the modern day!

Its impressive that it seems to get a lot of elements right. Reflections and material differences seem to be something AI is good in. Perhaps try to make it make some apocalyptic scenes, solely scenery such like warehouses, town down cities or rural areas.

Some of these will give me nightmares...

i was 100% expecting the barely cohesive surrealness of early ai pictures but this is much more complete than i expected, albeit still very surreal & weird the “ad” looked like a real language to me lol i’ve seen some weird european languages here & there

I 100% agree with what you are saying about the fascination of it. I stumbled down this rabbithole for the first time this evening. For the last 4 hours I have watched video after video and I have laughed, recoiled in horror, reflected on the associative processing of our sleeping or dysfunctional minds and just generally been blown away by the intellectual excitement of it. I also have a crick in my neck. I think I'm most amused and fascinated by where it doesn't get things quite right, it's surreal and bizarre and hard to describe. I'll be impressed but not so entertained by future versions that understand how to properly replicate how mouths work, for instance. Great video.

been thinking about this a lot, this is really going to be the future of the internet, isn't it? it looks a little cursed now but so did image generation a couple of years ago, give this a couple of years and it'll be flawless. i had chatgpt give me full scripts for youtube shorts with this tech and future in mind. it gave me one about a furry dragon beat cop in a cyberpunk city taking down robot thugs, one about a scooby doo style squad of influencers who go and film in real haunted houses, and one about a magical girl/boy kpop group in a post apocalyptic wasteland who bring people hope with the power of their performances. gave me legit chills reading the scripts. this stuff is going to change the media landscape of the internet forever.

I see fans creating fan-fiction TV shows of like Three's Company with the original cast with their voices in completely new situations in the apartment and pub and other areas and it will look just like the real thing. The only thing that might be off is the writers would have to be talented-enough to capture the feel of the show and the time-period, like putting stuff from modern times would be anachronistic.

I made the mistake of watching this before bed and had horrible nightmares throughout the night.
