Yeah if it's gets counter and body slam it'll be bulkier version of vigoroth. Other than that it's potential moves are very good. Mud shot, bullet seed, counter/body slam, crunch, wild charge, earthquake, super power, payback etc.

I think Falinks is fighting type because it's based on "phalanx", the Greek military formation where they're grouped tight together. Which would make me guess it's pronounced "Fay-links"

There's far too many Pokémon that require abilities and technical attacks that don't (currently) translate into Go. Greedent's specialty is it's ability to 'Stockpile', which could be done as an Atk/Def boost, followed by Spit out, dropping the stats back down. And Falinks has 'No Retreat', massively boosting all stats but preventing from being swapped out, and the Attack 'Reversal' doing more damage the more it has already taken (many Nuzlocked Pokémon have fallen to such a move).

I'm waiting for Corviknight to enter the ring. It's got pretty solid defenses, so I think it can function as a gym defender and have a potential spot in PVP, as long as the moveset doesn't suck. That's just my guess though. I don't know how to calculate Pokemon stats to Pokemon GO's parameters, so I can only imagine.

To get that stats from the main series game and calculate the stats in PoGo you have to do a good bit of algebra. It's weird, cause first you use the speed stat to get a speed multiplier (it doesn't go higher than 1.5). Then, and you get both attack and defense the same way, you look at the regular and special stat, and whichever is the highest one you take 75% of it, then add that to 25% of the lower stat, than you take that number and multiply it by the speed multiplier.

Hey Dr FLW, love your vids!! Am a Dr too, but not the smart kind like you 😂 medical. Just wanna point out a small mistake in the vid, from 10:14 to 10:20. You say Payback would give coverage against FAIRIES, when I think you meant PSYCHIC type (payback would be resisted by fairy types). It's all good, I stopped at gen 3 myself, so am learning stuff too. Keep up the good work!

I mean why do gym defenders matter? You can clear gyms with 1-3pokemon max without any issue,even if the gym pokemon are level 40-50,its just too easy to take down gyms and I have never lost a gym battle ever

Oh i do,infact i play untill they cant feed their pokemon berrys anymore,my pokemon can fight 3-4 times untill i need a single potion (of which i have 100 ,and 100 revives (50max hp potion,50 max revives)),they give up eventually so it doesnt matter to me one bit which pokemon is in a gym,the whole point of gyms is to get pokecoins and most people are kind enough to wait for a pokemon to be 8hrs in a gym then take it over,so no need to have a single blissy

Best gym defender is the gokdn raspberry. It's about time the gym system gets overhauled bring back the original but only allowone per type like how it is now, and allow one legendary per gym

Because a lot of people haven't kept up with the recent generations and don't know what to expect from these mons at all. Hell, I played through sword and shield and I didn't bother to look up falinks' base stats, because it's so easy to boost them up

@@FLWVideosYT i am also saying about pvp. Cause in raids and gym battles it can't even surpass hariyama. It has little more defence than machamp in great league but has less hp and much less attack and in ultra it's defence is little more than machamp but because of way more attack and hp than it machamp completely outclasses it in both damage output and taking hits.
