Using a Gen 1 OU team in Gen 9 National Dex was very difficult! The sets from Generation 1 were awful, so we found ourselves running mixed attackers and very weak moves compared to the sets that are common in Gen 9! We had Blizzard on Tauros, which was great in Gen 1 with it having a decent Special Stat, but in Gen 9, Tauros only has 40 Special Attack, meaning it was pretty weak.

Is funny in that first battle, that first opponent having to say stuff like, "blizzard tauros" if you are audible in your confusion, you are usually a dummy.😂

Meh, nothing out of this world to be honest. Most of those movesets are still similar to what someone would use nowadays, especially when playing in low ladder

the second opponent was not good, they literally set up every first turn. you should've taken better advantage of that

Fun idea, a couple of things to be nit-picky about, Fly is banned in gen 1, Starmie would never leave the house without thunder wave, and same with Chansey, putting it over Toxic. And depending on how you look at it, this shouldnt be a gen 1 team because no snorlax. Other than those minor issues, fun idea, fun video

For the first guy: If your opponent is using a “dumb” set, if you can’t finish the battle in 7 turns, you should actually start panicking instead of questioning ur opponent
