Do you remember? At the beginning of this year marking Gen Verde’s 50th anniversary, we released Turn it Up, an invitation to turn up the volume of unity with our proactive, concrete love which is open to all.
The idea caught on and toured the world and we heard it echo out in places as different as town squares and forests, schools and homes but above all it touched hearts, it became a way of life.
We got feedback from so many, telling us how they embraced this small spark in their particular culture and setting.
So we are now closing this anniversary year with Turn it Up clothed in myriad colours, sung by countless voices, danced with the style of many different people.
Over 465 boys and girls, children and young people, in 31 cities, 21 countries, 5 continents, appear in the video we now present. We are moved by their passion, their enthusiasm and their joy.
Turn it up - that’s the invitation - reaching us in chorus from the four corners of the earth, which is not closing the year, but opening out and encircling the world.
