They did the photocopy version when they were 9, 12, and 14. It was amazing. Why would they bother repeating that? This was the complete rewrite they did for Metallica's BlackList album (track 1) which was the 30th anniversary of the Black album.
Hey Guys! Just an FYI, they did this reimagination of Enter Sandman as a collaboration with Canadian, Grammy-Winning, Singer/Songwriter Alessia Cara, for the Metallica Blacklist album, by invitation from Metallica. They did this during Covid lockdown, with Alessia Cara in Toronto and The Warning and Producer Matt Squire in Mexico, via Zoom. They did this all in 8 days!! Amazing. So, during this live show, you can here some of Alessia Cara's backing vocals on the backing track as they play it Live! I have seen them perform this live 5 times and it is incredible every time!
The harmonies in this version they created are what makes this so good for me also leaving the iconic riff till the end is genius they killed it at this show. Great reaction thank you. 🔥⚡
Fantastic Band... The Warning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If anyone or any group think they can play Enter Sandman better, please don't leave the building, because you are not here. You are home dreaming, sound asleep clutching your pillow tight.
@@klauskriegbaum2795 I didn't say that, what I said was David Bendeth produced "The Warnings last album called Error" so he's well aware of The Warning and their harmonies .
@@dough1793 I think you will find that Klaus was answering AnthonyFisher and not you - considering he posted his response earler than either of your two posts. Duh
It was only the first track on the album because they went alphabetically meaning that with Alessia Cara they were gonna be first on the tracklisting, nothing more to it than that.
@@robhaunui3343 To be precise, first by ordering on the Black Album (Enter Sandman was first) and then within each song by lead artist name (Alessia Cara). I won't disagree that the Blacklist saves the best for first, but as you note it's purely fortuitous.
Hey dude it's not a copy it's a tribute but nobody had the artistry to make it different that's why Metallica says publicly they say it's favorite. WE love it everything its a not copy
Not a cover - a reimagination. Done for Metallica’s Blacklist album with guest Canadian artist Alessia Cara. She does the background vocables in this performance on a backing track. They did this as a faithfull cover back in 2014. That video launched their career.
@@tonycook1624 Yes, what you say is true. But TW turned it around and made themselves the main artist and Alessia the featured artist. Alessia seems to have been OK with that. She even performed with TW at the Troubadour in 2022.
