I'm very proud of our Kenyan young people. We, the older generation, dropped the ball. The Mau Mau freedom fighters and others sacrificed limbs and lives for Kenya's independence. But when my generation came of age, we took freedom for granted. Because of the bravery shown by our young people this June 2024, I now have hope for our country.
