Although, Gen Alpha is going to be at a disadvantage since they pretty much just started. (And btw, I'm part of early Gen Alpha [or as some people call it, Zalpha] so I won't have Gen Z's bias for thinking they're sooo much better than Gen Alpha while doing this.) FIRST MEME: Out of these 2, Rage Comics are definitely better. Baby Shark was overrated. 1:0 VIRTUALITY AND SPREAD: Obviously faster spread is a better thing than slower spread. It causes faster evolution. 1:1 MOST POPULAR MEME: This one is tricky. 4chan is brainrot, but Skibidi Toilet is brainrot too. I'll go with Pepe since they get pretty nice and funny usage from time to time. 2:1 HUMOR STYLE: Now, I've liked absurdism for as long as I can remember. But, I must admit, relatability is most certainly superior. Not looking good for Alpha. 3:1 PEAK YEAR: I won't be counting this since it's an ongoing thing and saying something is better because of it's year doesn't make sense anyways. 3:1 SOCIAL MEDIA: Yikes. 4:1 POPULAR GAME MEME: Gonna give this one to Gen Alpha for having more variety. 4:2 MEME SLANG WORDS: Gen Z slang can bend and be used for different scenarios more. And it also doesn't get overused beyond having recognizable meaning. 5:2 FAMOUS MEME SONG: This is definitely something Gen Alpha could use more time on since they clearly show potential with stuff like Mega Man dropping on January 7th. For now tho, Gen Z remains the goat of this spectrum. (Btw, R.I.P. Steve.) 6:2 FAMOUS MEME STAR: I'm giving this one to Gen Alpha, but not because of Kai Cenat. Kai Cenat is a goofball. I'm giving it to Gen Alpha because of CaseOh. 1. Because he is truly the BIGGEST streamer. 2. Because he might squish me if I don't give him the point. 3. Pewdiepie isn't really an "internet man" anymore, he's really just off living his life now. He's stopped uploading and appears in memes less and less. He's served his time, but his time isn't now. I'm ranking these based on the now. Still tho, not disrespecting his services. 4. CaseOh is genuinely a really funny guy with some very nice streams. 6:3 CONS OF MEMES: I'm gonna give the point of superiority to Gen Alpha on this one because despite it's brainrot nature (which, by the way, brainrot has always been a thing, it's just that zoomers are only paying attention to it now because they're old enough to know what brainrot is but still have their rose-tinted glasses on), bullying is still very wrong. 6:4 LONGEVITY: Now, many people expect me to go for Gen Z here for them having longer longevity, but I don't think that's actually better. You see, memes dying is a very natural thing and it's good that only very rarely does something last to this day like Rickroll and Trollface. The reason for this is that if a meme you don't like starts growing, then it's okay because soon it will be replaced by another meme that you may like. And then you'll get something else after that for others that might not like what you liked. It never gets stale and keeps everyone happy. And besides, imagine having to continue to deal with Mr. Incredible becoming uncanny to this day. :goosebumps: 6:5 FUTURE TRENDS: As long as we don't have another Gentleminions disaster, we're good here. And besides, if I did count this some people may think I'm biased towards Gen Alpha since I'm part of them. No, that's not the reason why I decided not to count it, it's just a little side bonus that happened to come with it. 6:6 And it's a tie. Oh well.
