Don’t be to hard on her, when I was younger I didn’t appreciate great artists that much, was really just into whatever was popular at the moment, but as I got older I realized that this man has real talent, no auto tune, just a artist that stands above all the others, great reaction!
Okay, let's see how it goes. I'm also basing it on 2 previous reactors whom I stuck with for some time but never understanding or appreciating Elvis, was not something I wanted to stick with. But I'll give it more time.
It's a 10!!! She just don't like Elvis too much. But it's all good cause your bond between u too is so awesome and I know y'all be blessed to be in each others company!!!! You are the coolest Dad for watching Elvis together!!!
All us a southern folk know about Polk salad😊 free food grows wild and is seasonal. It can kill after it flowers 😮 but delicious with ham hocks and also beans!🎉
The song on it's own without seeing the performance for me is a seven!, the incredible performance though is easy a ten!. Elvis's charisma, energy and delivery has turned an really good fun song into an amazing song when watching the performance, but if I'm honest with myself, as an Elvis nerd i hardly ever listen to this song!, so i can see where the young lady is coming from!
They need the link because there are 2 versions -- one where someone stupidly deleted the raspiness & crack in his voice @ beginning & it sounds awful.
@@carolhayar3037 I sent them the link to a LOT of Elvis performances, and You've Lost That Loving Feeling is one of them. I sent the correct one. I know which one you are referring to. So I made sure I didn't send them that one. It drives me insane when people mess with perfection. Wish people would just leave his live vocals alone. I swear, I could lose my 💩 when I watch a performance and realize someone has messed with it. I steer clear of anything that has the Philharmonic Orchestra behind it. Elvis' performances should just be left alone. ❤️
@@courtneynairn508 I do not have anything to do w-the Philharmonic when it comes to Elvis. It was just another way of making money. But for this suggestion of “You’ve Lost That loving Feeling” you didn't put in the link, that's why I mentioned it -- & if you sent it previously that does not necessarily mean they'll do the right one -- I'm not so sure they're savvy when it comes to Elvis-related stuff. They don't seem to know very much. Speaking of messing around w-his voice: have you seen the one where he has problems w-the mics. There was an overhead electrical issue w-the equipment & he stops & looks up in surprise at the squeak (it's real cute). Well there is a version where someone stupidly deleted that overhead squeak & by taking out that sound it makes you wonder why he looked up w-a surprised expression. Of course he should be left alone to do what he & his people did best.
@@carolhayar3037 I will add the link in now. Yes, I have seen that one. It was hilarious. His expression, and the laugh afterwards. I have also seen the one where they removed that sound and it's just not the same to watch it. Not sure why people mess with his music. It's ridiculous.
I just subscribed. You guys are fun. ☘️ Hey, Older Brother…stop forcing your younger sister into your opinions. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 She has her own mind. You Go Girl! 😁💚
During a previous performance of Sweet Caroline, Elvis was performing and someone in the audience was gesturing to his belt. At first Elvis was confused and looked behind him, then realized they were trying to tell him about the note in his belt. He looks down, takes the note out holds it up nods his head and then puts it back into his belt. He obviously forgot about it and while adjusting his belt in this performance, realized it was there, so he took it out and read it. A fan had slipped the note into his belt at some point during the performance. Also, I should have warned you about the microphone incident with your little sister sitting there. Sorry about that.
@@Aepresleyy I agree. I didn't find it inappropriate at all, but his little sister is 12. Wasn't sure how they would react to that part. I was holding my breath when I knew it was coming up.. 🤣
Show her younger Elvis, they have Hound Dog, Jailhouse Rock, Crawfish, Trouble, King Crole, Treat Me Nice, Your so Square also Trying to Get to You from the 1968 Comeback Special, One Night With You! Not to mention all of his studio albums try that's alright Mama recording, Blue suede shoes Come Back Baby, Ready Teddy those one are live All of these she might appreciate more with a younger Elvis she might understand why he was considered the King of Rock and Roll to be honest I didn't really appreciate his 70s stuff till I was older now I love, I see the talent he was its my favorite of him now but when I was a teen I loved his younger stuff it was edgy and new and fun, I felt more connected to him when he was younger and I was young...
This song got me hyepd up, as an American, like woah. I don't know if she's a hater or trying to act like she doesn't like Elvis, like almost every woman does like him eventually, or she is just the exception to the rule and just doesn't vibe to Elvis. God bless America
Poke Sallet (correct spelling) from the poisonous Pokeweed plant can be eaten if picked in the spring & cooked well. "Hut 2 3 4" refers to his days in the Army. She really doesn't understand or appreciate what Elvis accomplished w-his voice, his performances. She's on another level somewhere way out of range for this man & seems like she would rather be doing something else w-her time. Maybe if she was older...
Go easy on her, you have to remember her generation knows nothing about Elvis other than maybe Lilo and Stich and goofy Elvis impersonators looking ridiculous. She's coming along. Not everyone can love Elvis unconditionally after first hearing him. She needs a little deprogramming from the mostly garbage music she's had to grow up with. She's really liked songs I thought she would hate!
@@rong805 Okay, let's see how it goes. I'm also basing it on 2 previous reactors whom I stuck with for some time but never understanding or appreciating Elvis, was not something I wanted to stick with. But I'll give it more time.
@carolhayar3037 You can't punish one for the actions of others, kind of a dbag move. In the end, even if she doesn't like him, which i think she does overall, does it really matter?! No artist can be 100% loved by every single person!
Please let your sister react to things she truly likes. She will change with time, don't criticize her for being young. Elvis had so many songs in his movies where he sings to children. they are beautiful and fun, she probably would like those better, "It Happened at the World's Fair", Songs from "GI Blues", Songs from "Loving You", give her a break, and besides you are a guy, the last time I checked. Thanks
Again she's right on her feel on the song from a great artist. He's more moving with the music and throwing in his vocals. Yes, it's fun to listen to, but it's not his best. I agree with her six rating
I can't "like" this video as the girl gives a barely lukewarm reaction to each Elvis song. She does not understand charisma, magnetism, performance and his vocals. What a pity!
Nothing is wrong with her. Are you expecting someone who was literally born 12 years ago to love someone from 60 years ago just because you like him. Not everyone likes an artist 100%, and that is okay. Go and say the same comment on the songs she actually likes from Elvis. Oh, right, you won't.
