I found this video after a FB post about Corinn and her accident. I don't know you or your daughter, but the way you and your family have trusted in the Lord, and the way you have witnessed after losing her is just incredible. I will pray for you and your family as the Lord brings you to my mind, and I will pray for His leading in Genavieve's life that she will continue to serve him faithfully and that the world will know who He is through her. I pray that the music industry will not defeat her or take away her fear of the Lord. (I can't help but think of girls in the business who were brought up in Christian homes, but seem to have lost their way, as well as their families.) Your words in this video are so true and telling. You talked about obedience in your private life that prepare you for public ministry. I pray that God uses this great loss for His glory through your family. "The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Tamara ~ Wow. First, just thank you for your testimony, your transparency, and your courage, to share your story, publically, on RU-vid. I have not watched your other videos, YET, but I can assume that God has led you to have a RU-vid channel as a form of ministry, to reach people, as well as for your own well being. From your content, I would guess that you are being obedient to what you feel you are being called to do. There is a story to how I ended up here, but I will just say it started over 2 years ago, watching Gen and Corinn's, Haven Avenue channel. I recall watching a video by your husband as well, some time ago. Obviously, I don't know you, but perhaps I was led to this channel by the Lord. I used to be on the worship team at church, and would often use Gen and Corinn's harmonies, to nail down my own tenor harmony, when I wasn't singing lead. Without getting into too much detail, I'm currently not on the worship team, fallen back in a sense, in some sort of struggle. This isn't to seek counsel or anything, but to let you know, your message stirred conviction, examination, and inspiration, and I hear you. Your family seems amazing. The Spirit gives witness when I hear a true believer, a family member. You know what it's like, when you hear truth, when you hear that familiar sound. It's refreshing. I thought I sensed that in your daughters' videos. I hadn't heard anything from Haven Avenue in a while, when, after watching at least 20 American Idol clips, I spot GEN, out of the blue. I left a comment on their channel about that. Anyhow, not to write a book, just want to encourage you, as you have encouraged me. I prayed for you all. We once had a young body member, leave for American Idol audition, and she never came back to church. I think you have the best attitude, and along with that support, makes all the difference. I saw the whole family come running in after Gen's audition. Awesome testimony. And her song did mention God. I hope to hear more God stories, and live some more of my own. Maybe pray for me, my marriage, my walk with the Lord, to be on fire, and not lukewarm. : )

I'm not a man very good with words so bare with me but I only found Genavieve less than a week ago and listened to her cover video "Never Enough" which I listened to a few times and was captivated by her beautiful voice which made me go to her page. Then I listened to another video... then I subscribed. I had commented on her page and I know the loss your family has suffered since this video and you and your family have my sincere condolences. I had said that God speaks to everyone but not everyone listens however I saw her video pop up on my feed a few times then finally I clicked and let's just say that day I was listening. I know nothing of how she did on American Idol nor does that matter one way or the other but I can see where she gets her strength from. I started to listen to this video and a few times was going to click off but something wanted me to stay and listen so I listened to the end and it was exactly what I needed to hear and I just want to say thank you and god bless you and your family.

I, along with others have also committed sins here and there. Once I came to a point where I have lost faith because of the events happening. That was the biggest mistake in my life, unpleasing the Lord, God and Mary. It went on for a few months as I believe so but I still cant remember what made me change, all I can remember is me praying and the immensely huge love I have for the Lord, God and Mary. Yesterday I went to compete in the deleware valley science fair and I was so happy, excited yet nervous. I couldnt thank the Lord enough of how far I have went. On the way traveling there, i was scared and Worried. I couldn't stop praying that everything would go right for me and that I would of made it through. I presented and at the end I checked the list of the winners moving on to see if I made it through and my heart was pounding so quickly, and I didnt. I was devestated and I was crying. I tried so hard and worked day and night all by myself. I knew that nothing is impossible and I hoped that the Lord would hear my prayers and help me. On my way home I just thought "Even though I didnt win, I Still love you so much." Right now, i feel like the Lord has tested me to see if I would loose faith again and think that the competition to me was more important than Him. The competition was very important, but compared to the huge Lord, He is mostly important because I thank Him and God I am alive. I love him so much more than I love my life and myself. No matter what happens, even if I may be put in the hardest obstacle of life he put in front of me, I will still love him so much. I will always put the Lord in front of me and even though I might not be purr hearted, my love for him is and that is what is most important. May God bless you all and have a lovely day or night.

The only thing that i could say is that the secular music industry is satanic I'm not talking about the all the secular music but the industry itself i have watch many videos testimony from people like paris hilton, Britney spears, arianna, lady gaga and it sad to see how they used witchcraft to control their mind, these women are miserable and katy perry is sad to see what they go through. God gifted your daughter is a blessing i believe the Lord will make a way for her to be used people can be healed, save, and edify by her singing if she keeps seeking Him God is very creative and i believe she will be used in wonderful ways all for His Glory!! I just have one question would it really be necessary to kick her out to get her to stop talking to the boy? You pay her phone bill? Cut the line. Don't allow him to come in your household or ground her but kicking her out seems a little harsh.

I've always wanted to ask a women with a lot of children, why 10 children Tamara? You guys look well-off but that it's a handful. How do you get through the day without looking tired? So many questions, lol, can you make vids on how you keep your sanity, your good looks, etc.
I wish I could say I’m more spiritual than I am but honestly I wanted no children let alone 10. I hate being pregnant. Had I not gotten saved I probably would have aborted all of them. My body couldn’t handle birth control. I was a big time feminist. I had a job that paid me about 10k per month. Then God said ‘I want you home’ and gave me one baby after another. Definitely not my will but I wouldn’t trade my life for the world today because I know what He’s called me to do. I know these kids are my calling. The last 4 are reversal babies. I got my tubes tied after 6. It’s hard to give God your fertility let alone give Him your fertility after heart failure. However as HE NEVER ceases to amaze me he actually used one of my pregnancies to literally save my life. Only God. He’s the only one worth living for. We are not well off. We live on just over 1k per week. It’s really not much for 12 people but house is paid and no debt. Watch Jim sammons financial freedom seminar. That’s how we got out of debt. Sweetheart I am tired lots. I survive because I have accepted gods will for my like even if it kills me. My life is not more important than his will. I seriously pray without ceasing. Sweetheart we love on an engineers income. We are just very careful with our money. We prayed to get out of debt so we can give more to missions...not save for our children. All I can say is completely surrender to Jesus. All of you and let him lead. Also be sure not to make an Idol out of our children. It’s easy to love the gifts more than the giver of those gifts. I'm not to sure about American Idol. Just the word Idol behind it gives me woes. I somehow feel, In my opinion, that Christians cannot keep one foot in the world because it hinders all that God has for us. American Idol is without a doubt wordly.
I just found you today and binge-watched your remarriage videos. But now I am confused by this video. I haven't yet watched any by your daughter but I am disturbed by the fact that you allowed her to go on American Idol. You CANNOT make it in the music industry without making a deal with the devil - getting initiated into illuminati. You CANNOT do it. Wake-Up Look-And-See - Friend, there is a difference between sending someone and that person being called. This young lady believes she has been called for such a time as this. She is receiving her call, I trust by faith, and is being obedient to that call. We should not be quick to judge another’s servant but rather pray that God would protect her and use her to the best of her calling, gifting, and Gods enabling. Where would we all be if God did not send His Son to this world and to take our sin upon Himself. Jesus went about doing good and we are to do the same. God has His people in every venue of this world in one form or another. Whether it be government, entertainment, business, sports we should be praising God that we can be salt and light and affect this world in the name of Jesus Christ. I once was fearful and judgemental about people accepting such calls but realized who am I to limit God in what He wants to do through His children. Pray that Gods will be done in this young ladies life, pray that she continues to seek and discern Gods best and will for her life and ministry.
