I am 26 weeks pregnant with a baby girl! I actually found out around the same time as you when the video of the ultrasound was posted. I am carrying low as well. I did the baking soda experiment and sure enough I got girl! I did experience nausea that absolutely kicked my butt! The breakouts however weren't so bad. (knock on wood) :)

My best friend is pregnant and due July 27th. She is having a baby girl and watching this video and remembering what she said she was experiencing it was fairly accurate. And I am so happy for you and Matthias! Luna is one lucky little girl to have parents like you two!

I'm almost 22weeks pregnant with a baby girl and I'm carrying super low too. Pretty much all of my results matched yours. My baby is due Aug 27th and her name will be Lyla Raine.

I am a mother of a 6 year old girl. I was caring super low also. Even too low, which made my pregnancy highly risky. Didn't have morning sickness at all, but my sense of smell was much stronger then usually in the first couple of months. My skin often breaks anyway so I didn't noticed anything different for that matter. And, about hormones, in the first couple of weeks after you give birth to your daughter, your hormones will go wild, and you'll probably just want to cry all the time. I remember I cried pretty much all the time in the first month. My advise to you, take all the help you can until you get used to being a mum. Good luck and all the best for you and Luna.

I had the worst sickness my whole pregnancy, I was even put in the hospital for what seemed like forever, and we had a boy. He is so perfect so it was worth it for sure. Congratulations to you and your husband!

Super bad morning sickness - yes. I was on round the clock medications and hospitalized multiple times due to severe morning sickness (point girl) Chinese gender prediction calendar was the same as you - one said boy, the other said girl. I carried super low like crazy bad until the final month. When my baby decided to take up residence in my rib cage. Pretty much every old wive's tale pointed to girl. My bouncing baby boy sleeping on my chest right now suggests otherwise ;)

These old wives tales always make me laugh. The Chinese calendar one was correct for my sister though!

I was just learning about the development cycle of a baby, and we just talked about HCG and how it keeps you body making estrogen and progesterone.

In Finland it's quite common to give nature related names and I want to continue that tradition (my own name Meri means sea or ocean). If I had a boy I would name him Terho Olavi, where Terho means acorn and Olavi is both of my grandfathers middle name. If I had a girl I would name her Lumi (that means snow) or Minttu (that means mint).

With my third child I had morning sickness for over half the pregnancy, I had a boy. I always knew by the heartbeat. I knew I'd be having another boy when I heard the heartbeat and it was under 160. I've been accurate in guessing my friend's and families babies genders by their baby's heartbeat as well. :D

Are you and Matthias going to Playlist Live in D.C? I plan on going, and would love to see you guys there. If course it's in September, so I suppose you wouldn't know yet, but if you do plan on going, that would be so cool!

Okay I've had these names on lock since I have played sims for several years. If I had a girl I would name her Isabella Anastacia (Anastacia is my late gramma's name) and if I had a boy my first pick used to be William Joseph, but mainly because I'm Green Day trash and I could call my son Billie Joe, but now if I had a son I would probably name him Isaac Manuel (Manuel is my late grandpa's name) Also! Hello Amanda! I love the video!! I have to say that I think that having morning sickness doesn't actually have anything to do with it. In my experience, I never had morning sickness and I had a girl. Now, my sister (our kids are only 3 months apart) had morning sickness until she gave birth and she had a boy. *QOTD* If I have another baby and is a boy I'd name him Kendall Adán (Adam in English) and if it was a girl I'd name her Kendall Anisse. Sadly I have a syndrome which prevents me from getting pregnant that easy and is why I tell everyone that my daughter is a true miracle.

i have 3 boys, 23 18 & 7, heartburn the whole pregnancy with all 3. no breakouts. ring on string said girl 2 out of 3. lunar calendar said girl all 3. carried high 1st time. carried low 2nd and 3rd. they are so inaccurate, but tons of fun when you are preggers. plus i love my boys with all the pieces of my heart! love you videos Amanda Faye. give Matthias a high five from me and the kids.😃

the ring prediction is the most accurate of the tests, you can also use a pencil by sticking a needle into the eraser of the pencil, my grandmother (daddy's mother) did that test with a pencil and it can also predict how many you will have and what they will be, when i was pregnant with my eldest she did the test and of course it went side to side (girl) then went in a circle, and then went up and down (boy) went in another circle, then went side to side (girl) and then stopped, and I did have a girl first, then a boy, and then a girl, and no more after that, they also say that whatever your baby's first word is will also determine what your next child will be which is kind of weird because my eldest daughters first word was Daddy and low and be hold my next child was a boy not totally sure if that was a coincidence or not but kind of interesting none the less....also it was interesting that you said that if you crave sweets you will have a girl and if you crave salty/savory you will have a boy, i craved chocolate when i was pregnant with my eldest and i craved pickles and green olives when i was pregnant with my son, but with my youngest i craved mayo and taco bell lol, i also carried my girls really high and i carried my son really low, but every woman is different and carry their children differently

My mom has told me that when she was pregnant with my brother that all signs pointed to her having a girl. She carried low and his heart rate was very fast. She and my dad had bought everything for a girl, decorated the nursery for a girl. And then then had a boy, lol. As for names when I finally have kids, for a boy I am calling him Henry Joseph after my late grandfather and my only uncle, for a girl either Clementine Lily or Emma Grace.

My son's heartbeat had been 178, 180, and then 158. Definitely over 140 but blood test confirm it's a little bundle of manliness.

When my sister was pregnant with her children, she had LOOOOOTS of nausea and morning sickness both pregnancies. She had a boy the first time and a girl the second time. I had two boys and no sickness or nausea. I did crave spicy foods with my first one. He still likes spicy foods to this day and he's eleven. I tried the ring test, but at the time I wasn't married. It kept going back and forth between girl and boy.

We are 19 weeks pregnant. i have 2 girls already. My first totally seemed like a girl based on old wives tales, and my second acted like a boy but was a girl. Haha. So old wives tales are mostly a fun thing for me not to be taken seriously. For this one, we don't know the gender yet (hoping for a baby boy!) But we have names already chosen (first names) for either one. Boy: Elijah Girl: Eliana I know this video is older, but it caught my interest :D Blessings for your delivery!

I guess I'd go with Sina or Siren for female names (it's an accidental tradition in my family to name the first born female a name beginning with S) perhaps Lilith for a second female? and Salem, Kie...maybe Wolfie for males. Who knows though I change my mind a bit on what names I like fairly often so..guess I'll see if I ever get there.

Interesting video!! I feel sorry for you morning sicknesses :( but it's good that they are receding. I know my grandma knows the "ring test" but I always though that these methods can't work :D And about that naming question: Funny thing about me is that I am always saying I am not going to have a kids but have a word document with kids names :D so anyway I would love to name mine after fictional characters like Lily, Luna, Prim, Elsa, Aurora, Draco, Damon or Loki but since I am from Czech Republic all these names sounds "weird". But I hate czech names so mine kids would have english name anyways :D so: Melody, Evelyn, Aily, Rosalie, William, Santiago, Christian or James are my favourites :)

I definitely believe the cravings one, I predicated all my friends' babies by what they said they were craving. My mom said that's how she knew what me and my siblings were.

My mom was told to use a needle (instead of a ring) and it would swing b&f stop then circle and would keep switching she actually had fraternal twins! My oldest i was sick the whole pregnancy carried kinda high and had horrible acne , but alas i have 2 boys lol.

Out of all of these, that ring one surprised me the most. Like how does that work?? An old wives tale my grandmother would tell me is if it's a boy, you'll have lots of back pain. I don't remember what she said for girl though.

I am sorry you had such bad morning sickness/all day sickness. I managed to get through my pregnancy without any sickness, craved cheese, so I would consider that savory, carried low, did ring test but since wedding band is fused to engagement ring test was not accurate, didn't know the Chinese zodiac thing, heartbeat was right around 145, and had no acne. Basically most of the signs pointed to boy. Chose to be surprised about sex of baby. Ended up having a girl. her name is Ashton Leigh. Boy name picked out, Hunter Steven. if ever have another girl would be Rowan Jane.

If I had a girl I would name her Charlotte after my Nana. And if I had a boy I would name him Daniel or Schuyler. A few months ago the name Daniel just started to sound really good to me, so in the future hopefully I can convince my fiancé to go with my choice. Love you Amanda! I am not pregnant and don't plan on being for at least 8 more years, but when i do the girl will be named Evangelina, after my grandmother, this has to be the first name for the first girl in our whole family on my moms side but i think my sister will have a baby way before me, The real name i want to name my daughter would be Anna Sun, i would name her Sun as her middle name because Sol (Sun) in Mexico is a common middle name and i just love the sound of Anna Sun. The boy would be named Alexander.

In February, I told you and Matthias my baby passed away. I was almost 8 months with her. I did a few of these. And had really bad morning sickness almost thought the entire pregnancy. I did crave some sweets like milkshakes sometimes most of the time it was Mexican food or burgers. Her name is Juvia Cayenne. When I get pregnant again Her sister will be named after her. If I have a boy, his name will be Natsu Steven. Juvia means Rain in Spanish and Natsu means Summer in Japanese.

For the ring test,it actually works with a sphere with a piece of string,I have heard that it works with anything as simple as a pencil,but I think that the sphere is most effective.

me and my husband picked luna skye for a girl name and christopher dean for a boy. we picked luna because of my love for astronomy and the moon and christopher after my dad that i lost 7 years ago.

I have weird names chosen for when I have kids and often get teased about it, but here it goes. For boy: Jayminx or Kaisaka. For girl: Opal or Starlyn.

one thing that's really cool about the wedding ring thing is if you keep in mind that a line means you're having a girl and a circle means you're having a boy keep changing your thoughts between girl and boy and it will keep changing as you change your mind so that one is actually all in your head but still cool

If you have noticed, all of these are videogame characters, except Sean. That name is the name of Jacksepticeye and he plays videogames, so I thought that would count. I also wanted to keep the first letter S.

This doesn't really have to do with your question, but I just wanted to share the weird craving that my mom had while she was pregnant with me. She told me that she always craved limestone, and she actually started eating the wall behind the bed, which I find very strange. I never heard anyone say they craved something so weird.

When I was pregnant all of the wives tales came up boy, and I had a beautiful girl! Her dad and I only agreed on Cortny for her name, but I really wanted to name her Rhian or Annaxandra. He wanted Roberta... Cortny suits her just perfectly. :) She'll be 15 this year! :O

I am so prepared for baby names. My partner and I want 2 so we have 2 masculine names and 2 feminine names picked out (in case we have two boys or two girls) the boy names are *Rohan Thorgrim* (he really likes vikings ok) and *Peregrin John* (John is a family thing for him and I just really love LotR, as you can see with three of the four names) and the girl names are *Eowyn Freya* and *Sigrid Illiana*

I've been obsessed with the name Lyra ever since my dad read His Dark Materials on my bed side when I was younger so I'd probably name my hypothetical daughter that, or Lydia, and I'd name my hypothetical son Lucas or Sebastian (only because my sister has stolen my two favorites for boys: Aries and Achilles.)

I would choose the name Felicity for a girl, and Caleb for boy :) I love names that aren't whats considered to be normal, and I think Luna is the most adorable and perfect name for your little girl!

My baby boy is going to be named Titus Leighland and if I have a girl Vencinzena Valorie. Vencinzena was my great grandmas name and my mom was named Zena because of her and I was named after my grandma and it was so special sharing her name and I want my daughter to share that experience and have the same name as her Grandma. Plus Valorie is my mother in laws middle name. And Leighland was my great grandpas middle name. I guess I just love tradition.
