This testimony also made me realize how ignorant we can be as Christians to faith journeys that are different from our own . It is really important to educate ourselves on how to love God’s people well while still teaching the truth without further hurting them or adding to their trauma. May God give the Body of Christ wisdom on how to deal with unique testimonies and people.🥹🙏🏽
I was a heroin addict for 15 years. I had no hope for the future and I had lost the will to live. I started getting sick and hospitalised a lot from injecting heroin and crack. I had an abscess burst inside my abdomen and I got sepsis. I can’t remember getting to the hospital. My organs started to shut down and I waited 4 days in agony waiting for surgery. The hospital called my mum who I hadn’t spoke to for 4 years and told her I was dying and to get family in to see me and that they were going to try to save my life with surgery and removed my bowel and my left leg. During surgery I had a cardiac arrest and I had a near death experience…. I was all of a sudden above my body with doctors and nurses around me and my abdomen clamped open. Then I was stood next to the myself and something made me look towards the door and at that moment my grandad who died when I was 10 years old, walked through the doors towards me. I broke down and I knew in that moment I was dead, that my tortured and painful life was finally over. I was happy. Grandad hugged me and told me it wasn’t my time and I cried and begged him to let me go with him. I didn’t want to live with the pain after they removed my leg and wear a bag for my poop for the rest of my life. I begged and begged him to take me with him. He told me you aren’t done yet, you have things to do. He said I will be ok and the moment he said that I was waking up in intensive care with wires and tubes all over me. I looked down and my leg was still there and my bowel was intact. From hospital I left an abusive and toxic 17 year relationship and moved into my own place and I am 602 days clean and I tell people my testimony and attend church and help mothers with addictions and give my time with my assistance dog doing pet therapy. I was truly lost but I saw that there is life after death and I had to act accordingly. I pray for you Jessica
What a powerful testimony! I am truly touched by your journey. My 28 yo daughter came out as transgender about 5 years ago but has done nothing more than dress masculine but she has told me she is going in for a consultation for cross hormones. I am a Christian and I'm showing her love and compassion on the outside but I'm dying on the inside. I'm praying that she will have a personal encounter with God and He will turn everything around like he has for Jessica. She has struggled with anxiety and depression. I just want healing and restoration for her. I pray her eyes would be opened and she accepts who she is and who God created her to be. Thank you for sharing your story! God bless!
Don’t wait for god to do it. Show her videos like this one. Also keep in mind that many girls who transition consider themselves to be lesbians. Regardless of what your church believes, sit with that. Lesbians are transitioning all the time because they don’t get the acceptance they need for sexuality they feel they can’t change. Even if you think being gay is a sin, it’s better for her in the long run than changing her body. Preventing transition is about harm reduction, not magically turning her into a straight, god-fearing woman.
You've said he's asked to be referred to as male for 5 years yet you still call him a Her. Your asking for God to love him but you havent even shown thar grace or acceptance. The way you've stated you hope He encounters God and he fixes this? Love you daughter for the son he wants to be. God does. Also something I'm curious about is did you accept them for being gay prior to all this transition? There is a good possibility that they don't wanna be seen as gay so if they transition it would be seen as more acceptable because now it's a man with a woman vs just being lesbian. Our God is all knowing, all powerful and all seeing. It's funny how as Christians we trust the process and the path until its not a path we envisioned, understand or approve of. My prayers go out to you first then him. Your asking him to accept God when you haven't even accepted the path your own baby is on. Trust in God and know this is his plan not yours.

I love how this testimony highlights how the Holy Spirit gradually sanctifies us. Many times we think we can put in the work on our own and only approach God when we think we’ve gotten better. Sorry..but what did Holy Spirit show you. You know with your mum..I feel for what you went through as a child but maybe now you could also see that because of the sin nature..she had probably gone through stuff..eg..rejection, abuse..something to make her believe within that it was safer or better or both, to be someone else. I know that doesn't justify the horrible time you had but it's something your mother couldn't see. Satan is the father of all lies & her eyes of understanding were blinded by a damaged soul. One only Jesus can heal truely.
Yes to everything you said, thank you for your reply. Yes my mom was very abused, and I am a product of rape. I need to write a book lol. The abuse I received from her not protecting just like her parents didn’t protect her . Father God gave me a heart to be different. I loved my mom more than life she was who God gave me, But as I stated she was in a trans like I am seeing many others are in a trans.
It’s really interesting to hear Jess was herself mon-sat, but come Sunday, Aden appeared. This is so true for the rest of us. In our heads, we all have to “present” ourselves in a way acceptable to “church”. That’s so convicting. I have to remember this.. when I minister to a child’s heart during Sunday school. Especially when its a child who is reacting to something that’s been going on in their lives.

No I did not have the surgery and no I did not take the testosterone, but I was very confused for a few years [though I was already very much a child of God.] And I love the way you brought up the fact that He is so patient with us and deals with us at our own pace. It may seem slow to others but God's timing is absolutely perfect. And I have been walking free of that old lifestyle for three decades now and I praise His holy name! The Bible does not say we must not judge. It’s says to iudge righteously. You didn’t judge you assumed she was a man because of how she looked . Normal
It’s best not to make assumptions about people, as when you do that you could potentially miss out on opportunities to minister to them. We are to ask the Holy Spirit to speak to us rather than jumping to our own “normal”, natural conclusions. That’s what makes us different. As the Word says, the sons of God are led by the Spirit of God, not by our fleshly understanding.

There’s a fine line between negative judgments/labels and personal standards. We can’t be expected to compromise our standards to please other people. In other words, judging someone else’s decisions and behaviors is a natural outcome from having our own values and standards. The problem is when we confuse our values with worthiness. People aren’t inferior just because they are different from us in some respect. We can disapprove of a person’s opinions, behaviors and choices (which is a judgement) but they are still inherently worthy of dignity and respect as human beings with souls.

Thank God for this testimony. My heart breaks for these female detransitioners. I know that a lot of these trans people will become detransitioners and will rather kill themselves than admit they were wrong. I pray that they dont. I pray they survive and have the courage to stand in truth, and that all of their paths will lead them to Jesus. 🙏🏼
