raisingtwoboys same. People always say “I knew it was a girl” for this reason. It has to be one or the other and both boy and girl moms can get equally as sick. So happy for Carlie though.

It might just be a coincidence, but I was WAY more nauseous with my girl than my boy. The nausea lasted the whole pregnancy with her.

Im expecting my 1st and i have no morning sickness my roommate who had a boy was sicker than a dog 😂 and now im in my second trimester and still no morning sickness just a bit of nausea but every women is different each pregnancy is different

It is so strange. That’s so amazing you don’t have the awful symptoms. I was sooooo super sick with my daughter I was so sick I lost 15lbs. I was sick a little with my son but once the first trimester was over I wasn’t sick at all. With my daughter it lasted the whole time I was pregnant. I’m so jealous of women like you ❤️

Jessica Stuckenschneider it’s so crazy!!!! Every time my husband would be like, well wives tales says it’s a girl or boy, I’d be like, that’s not science!!! Hahaha. My mom and Grandma both had really easy pregnancies, so I don’t know if that is a genetic thing or not. I have also lost 15 pounds, but I think it’s from just not having an appetite for anything. Like nothing makes me sick, but it’s not like give me ALL the chocolate cake. Hahaha. It’s more of a, shoot. I better eat something.

I bet it is in our genes. My mom was exactly the same as me sick but not horrible with boys and super duper sick with me. I also craved junk food And soda with my son and tons of fruits and veggies with my daughter. I love talking about this kind of stuff with people I just find it so interesting. Us moms are all super similar but so very different too ❤️

Yes if you want a boy you want your man to have cool testicles. My friend got her husband to swim in the freezing cold sea every morning after endless girls, and they finally got their boy! Warm testicles = much higher chance of a girl.

1 year olds don't even know it's their birthday. Usually at a one year old birthday party, adults just hang out and drink and talk and the baby either plays somewhere or sleeps. It's not that exciting of a party. It's basically for the adults, so why not do something special while the whole family is together? You act like Elliot is going to be scarred for life, or something.
