They kinda remind me of Lyanna and Robert. Gendry reminds me of Robert for obvious reasons, his strength of both character and body as well as his sense of justice. Arya is a lot like Lyanna and it's perfectly illustrated by one of the quotes talking about Lyanna. "He saw her beauty but not the iron underneath." Arya is far stronger than people realize, or at least in these earlier seasons. (Everyone knows she's a badass now.)
Lol that really isn't the best comparison Arya's a lot like Lyanna but Gendry's nothing like his father, the ingredients are the same but the results are different. Gendry is more humble, kind, and understanding. That's why I love his character.
I'm gonna be disappointed if Arya/Gendry aka what Robert kind of prophesied doesn't happen! What he said has to happen one way or another (it seems many thing Robert said happened) and this is the most natural one if Sansa doesn't fell in love with Gendry but I hope not that.
I want Gendrya to happen because.. it is always Sansa that everyone falls for, Arya is used to it, i want her to come first for once, she is becoming more womanly now, Hot pie even noticed how pretty she is becoming, I think Gendry will notice.. considering he knew she was a girl the whole time. Plus it makes more sense..the chemistry between them and the parallel's between Arya/ Lyanna and Gendry/ Robert.
@@lauri_arts You do know Robert just looked at Lyanna's outer appearance though and didn't care about her true personality at all. He started a war because she ran away with Rhaegar like a child upset that one of his "toys" got stolen. When I realized what really happened I just became so disgusted with his character I lost all sympathy for him.

I love this video and the background song is the one for Reghaer and Lyanna but for Gendry and Arya because Arya is described as the closest to Lyanna. Both were badass women and I hope these two make it because clearly Arya feels something for him and he continues to deny it.
