Gene Deal on Biggie plotting to leave Bad Boy Records and not caring if he died. Gene Deal also tells story about incident he had at Russell Simmons house.
💯💯it’s always the one that you least expect. Suge was big and intimidating, so you expected things like that from him but Dirty Diddy that’s a different story. He played like an Angel but that guy is a devil in disguise.
@@ShawnNDaHood You and these other Tupac Acolytes are getting out of hand... You all carry the same animosity and hatred that Tupac got killed for..... Oh and Big Vs. Pac Summed up ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bTU4x1xDXhI.html
"I don't believe y'all don't know who Russell Simmons was. He rich he rich, y'all can take those credit cards and buy everything. Russell Simmons is rich. I can't believe y'all don't know who he was. " I'M HOLLERING!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Said it before and I'll say it again if Pac n Big was signed to any label that had good sense they may have survived the madness. Both CEOs cared about themselves the money, fame, and there images over everything else. Otherwise neither Pac or Big would've been put in those situations that led to there early demise. Suge lit the match with his comments at the awards show that fueled Pacs rage much more than it should have been. Possible that if Pac was signed to a more mature responsible label the so called beef with Big might've been squashed. Snoop is a prime example after signing with No Limit Master P taught him the game of ownership vs being consumed with greed and his own pockets. Definition of a true boss that wasn't consumed with himself and capitalizing off his artists by any means necessary. Granted both labels did give there artists access to a lifestyle of the rich and famous yet there records speak for themselves in terms of the number of disgruntled artists that never got paid there true value. The actions of Pac n Big played a role as well but the lack of real leadership was even more of a factor as both of these great talents were taken away much too soon. I don't believe I've ever heard Suge or Puff take any responsibility for there roles in how everything played out. Such tremendous talent gone far too soon. RIP Pac N Big!
Suge Knight was beefing with Puffy before Tupac joined Death Row. Suge's homeboy was allegedly killed by Wolf or his associates. Big became a sucker during the Pac shooting even though we see now how Pac done more for Biggie than puff did. Real life street beef is bigger and dangerous than "rap beef" especially when it involves shooting, robbing and murder. Master P literally robbed all his artists publishing and became a multi-millionaire whilst none of his artists were successful in fact many ended up in jail or dead for street beef so no, Master P would definitely have not been a goid choice. I think you're mixing emotion with not understanding how dangerous the rap game was in the 90's. Pac knew he couldn't be around after dropping 'Against All Odds' and Big was literally ready to die.
Pretty much, Big and Pac had their own issues between each other but that was minor to the issues their labels had against each other. Pac and Big fought their beef with words and their labels did it with guns. The people around them were more adamant about killing each other than they were themselves.
@@b11gmm97 I feel u but no emotions just logic mane. I'm a Pac fan but not enough to pick sides. Both made choices that contributed to the drama . Personal feelings aside I have much respect for Bigs talent and legacy as there beef had absolutely nothing to do with me. To a certain degree both were controlled by there labels basically had no choice. Otherwise Big wldve never been in Cali and Pac wldve been protected much more than he was. As for Master P and Snoop that was the only connection in terms of high profile status artist that was given the game. Not my words but comes from Snoops own mouth. Other than that every label has artists that got so called robbed but very few that were on Pac n Bigs level. Solid points tho much respect and honestly 25 yrs or however long it's been all anyone has including myself are opinions. Ain't on me to say who is right or wrong. Don't know and not that important just expressions agree or disagree it's all good. Blessings to All!
All these intrigues that were going on behind the scenes during those times is astounding. The fact that these guys were so 2 faced while they were presenting a united front is just mind blowing. You had to be on point at all times cause you never knew where the knife might be coming from.
In the 90s was right after the crack era when gangsters were flooded with money, so much money that they had the music industry, police, and politicians in their pocket. pretty much mafia style.
I'm not surprised, as not only was Russell a high-ranking label exec/boss at that time, but I recall a 'comedy' skit about Harriet Tubman sleeping with a white slavemaster coming out some years back & Russell finding it hilarious while other black people were rightfully offended by it. So yeah, he's definitely on some weirdo shit.
He did the double disc to get out of his deal, I believe & he already owned a label w/ his best friend that had released the junior mafia & lil Kim’s albums prior to his death. Plus he was going to sign Camron who later became the first artist signed to Undeers along with Charli Baltimore. And he was planning the supergroup the commission w/ jay z. Plus Owning a label is different than being signed to a label.
Biggie wanted his mother to have control of his songs and puffy his keeping this man word from been honored, puffy is a billionaire,he doesn't need biggie sons anymore
Hat you talking about do you know how much money puff made after biggies album life after death that went “diamond”. And then his greatest hits album that went triple platinum? Every commercial you here with buggies music on it puffy gets payed because he owns his publishing. He became a billionaire because of biggie so let’s pump the brakes sis you need to learn how this industry gets down
Hollywood and hip hop always been having DL brothers. Growing up in California, I that for a fact. Dudes try to be hard code but behind closed doors, booty all spanked. Like O.G too short will say niggas needs to stop disrespecting the game
He fired him after Biggie passed away. Gene deal knew it wasn’t safe for Biggie or puff to go to that vibe magazine party but Puff didn’t listen then Biggie ends up dead. After Gene deal was cooperating with the Feds puff didn’t want to associate himself with him anymore. Now Gene is telling his side of the story to expose the narrative.
What was the connection with Butnaked Tim Dawg and the Lost Boyz?!?! What was Gene going to pick up for them? I pray to god that the dude with the dreads wasn't..... 😵💫The way Gene described him makes me think he was more than someone random.
This world so backwards. A man with humility respected by the public speaking out about bs in the industry, yet too afraid to simply say "in a gay like voice" because no gay man or trans woman will ever be likened to a "woman" It's crazy. Let's try to stop erasing women
His story never changes and u can hear his anger in how they did b.i.g... maybe his guilt for listening and being paid for watching ppl back door ppl keeps him speaking the truth for the dead
Lol yooooo I could listen to this man’s stories all day lol especially about how EVERYONE who portrayed themselves to be tough ass gangster ass mofos when we were growing up was on some soft shhhh hahahaha that’s where Hollywood fd the game up in the music industry cause now you can “act” like any character you want to portray but you forgot about the man watchin the door hahaha Ayo Gene keep bringing these stories bruh we getting a whole different perspective on these “dudes” lol he said I ain’t gonna say this I ain’t gonna say that and really said that shhh anyways hahahaha my man!!!
@@3rdGenerationCancer Mase wasn't Biggie neither....Biggie was basically the cashcow of Badboy from 94-97...Your biggest artist is planning on leaving & he put other names on publishing so Diddy couldn't obtain them..Big would've made EVEN more money away from Puff & he ain't like that...He rather make millions off his death than to let him make money elsewhere & He threatened to fire badboy employees if they didn't get Big to LA instead of Europe where he had a WHOLE paid gig but Diddy said F that he needs to be in LA...That's more than enough motive to take him out & get tripled what he was worth alive. ALLEGEDLY
@@3rdGenerationCancer Not adding any ideas when this info came from Gene himself..Mase didn't pop til after Big died...Who's to say Mase would've been as hot if Big was still alive but the point is Big's murder wasn't an accident...

@@blackjesus4525 Ma$e wasn't Ma$e til 97, He was on a few singles but he wasn't the focus while Big was alive, Puff put him upfront cuz he was the next pen after Big, Ma$e blew up in 97-98...Fym mo money mo problems was released after Big died, Yea they recorded together but so what?? Him & Jay recorded together before he passed & nobody cared for Jay till 98 really..Big had the shit sowed up
When the man said leopard bikini draws, I had to rewind that shhh, cause I thought that was a brand name of some designer shhh that I might have missed! That shhh was hilarious!🤣😁
I done clicked on I don’t know how many “AOD” Gene Deal videos and he says something about a book but never mentions a title is there a book or is the book just in the making? Cause I’m a big reader I need to know about this book
Because Puff and JD were in a bidding war for MA$E. JD found him 1st, but MA$E chose Puff. MA$E was money. Your suppose to sign the team if you lose the artist. If he blows up, you know he's not gonna let his team fail. Easy, and smart money until MA$E and Harlem World played out to fast. They fell victim to the sound of rap changing. DMX, Cam'ron, Canibus, Lost Boyz, Lox, Nore, and Big Pun all came the following 2 years after MA$E 1st album. Rap shifted...
@@3rdGenerationCancer Can u read dipshit? I said "MOST". The word "MOST" literally was at the beginning of the sentence, and it still went over your head???
Ah! I saw a documentary that said it was Christopher Williams that caused Halle Berry’s deafness in one ear, not Wesley Snipes, but Wesley was there and got blamed.
@@torjackson428 you clowns love to throw the rat word around I swear. Gene wasn't a gangsta he was a personal bodyguard. It's not snitching if he Id's a person who he believed targeted his client. He's a civilian with a job, dumb ass ni**a.
@@robertpitts8161 he said flat out many times that Diddy had zero involvement in biggies death that night. I think that’s bizarre because everything Diddy did that night points towards red flag after red flag.
@@robertpitts8161 exactly! He gives us just enough sometimes for us to pretty much draw our own conclusions and paint a picture....but it's crystal clear nonetheless
Cannibus been spilled the bean about Russell! It was on one of his first diss tracks against LL. I believe the line went something like "you & Russell make the better couple. Can't think of the name of the song but cannibus definitely used that line.
...And it was either in the book Raising Hell or Queen's Reigns Supreme, that I read that Run used to get teased when he was younger, they'd say his brother was "a bundle of sticks", if u know what i'm getting at. Those rumor's about Russell been around, but he's also been linked to a few Super Models, so i guess thats why people aint sure.
Puffy was mad that Biggie was becoming if not already became the best version of puffy , when Gene said $5mill out the gate puffy didn’t even manage to do that record sales with Big alive at that time. So with that being said BiG became a threat to puff and puff did what he knows best 🚪
Amir Muhammad with the help of David Mack, Raphael Perez, Reggie Wright Jr, all had a hand in Bigs death. Puff probably was the target but Gene saved his life by telling the driver to run the light.
