Gene Roddenberry, Star Trek "The Cage" Introduction and Conclusion (1986) 

In 1986, Paramount Video released on VHS cassette a video titled, "Star Trek: The Unaired Pilot." Introduced by creator Gene Roddenberry, the video featured existing footage of the show's first pilot, "The Cage." Some of that footage was black-and-white, as an intact color print has not yet been located.
"The Cage" is protected by copyright, so the episode has been deleted from this video. Roddenberry's discussion remains.
