The reason what Gene does is considered to be so amazing and got him rank third at the Elimination is that he is able to do something called Lip Oscillations, and he is able to pitch them into beautiful chords. So when he is singing and adding those Fruuuu Fruuu sounds into chords, it becomes a whole song. Very few people can make harmonies and chords like he can.

Well Gene is a member of their house, from Beatbox House who you had reacted to before in Beatbox House vs Berywam Also Gene is 2015 GBB winner, guy doesn't even need the win this year.
He is the pioneer of musical beatbox. His most iconic technique is the arpeggio just like 5:22, and his musicality brought him to the gbb 2015 solo champion. His pitch control, structure, originality, flow...everything is just perfect. So many beatboxers were influenced from him. Absolutely legend.

I give this one of the best solo elimination in GBB history. What Gene has done on stage was beautiful and inspirational. He's also a big inspiration to majority of beatboxers as well. Out of context: Whenever I see you, I think of a beatboxer (Supernova). I don't know if that's only me or what. 😂 You can do a quick search on RU-vid to see.
Bro I would recommend you to check out the wildcard videos before the eliminations so that you would get an idea of the routines they do in their elimination rounds
