I've just found my next favorite country music singer ! This Kid and his wife are just Golden Age singers in a young and very talented Boy and Girl ! Married to each other.
It's insane MO is so young with a voice like that! He sings like an old soul. I could listen to him all day. And Gene Watson is a treasure. When my mom passed we played Farewell Party at the graveside. She loved him wanted it played. Funny as a small child I swore I'd listen to different music when I was grown. Lol. I became my parents. This music brings back so many great memories.
I met Gene Watson when he played at our Fine Arts Center in Iola, KS. in the early 90's.. He pointed at me, asked my name & told me the next song was for me & he sang Paper Rosie. I was a little embarrassed because I wasn't old & felt he should have sang it to my Grandmother who was sitting next to me. My husband & son steal tease me about that. I love going to C&W shows & have had other well known singers sing a song to me, like Jim Stafford & Mac Davis. There was another singer, that was just starting out & my ex-husband, my Mom & myself went to hear him sing at the club (Pink Door) down the road from where we lived, in Chapman, KS. We were both serving in the military, so money was a little tight & we didn't go out often. A few years later, he became well known, but when I went to tell my current husband the story, I couldn't for the life of me, remember his name. I guess that's just part of getting older.
Mo Pitney has a pure country sound, I hope he stay just the way he is and don't let those Nashville producers change him. Gene Watson is a legend ! I love his voice !
Moe Pitney did Fantastic Job singing The wonderful old Country songs God Bless And Gene Watson is a Fantastic Country singer Love those older Country songs God Bless him and his wife 🙏 always....Rest in Peace Merle Haggard
I have loved Gene Watson’s music since I was in high school back in the ‘80’s. His voice is so awesome and unique. I finally saw him last 4th of July in Staunton, VA. One of my life’s dreams was to see him live. Thanks Gene for gracing us with your time.
Yeah I like Gene watching he is a very very good singer and I think he is the best and ought to be honored this year on the Grammy awards country music
Mo hasn't put in the time yet but his time will come. He's great. Gene is the one who should be in the Hall. They have over looked him for too long. I believe he is 81 & still out there doing shows. Love him & his songs.❤❤
Gene I have been listening to you ever since I can remember. You are such a inspiration to all country music singers. I agree with what Lori morgan says about you. She said when this group gets together they’d would rather listen to gene rather than sing themselves. I can’t think of any bigger compliment than that.
So many comments about how country music is not what it used to be. The only way to get it back to where it was is to stop buying the new crap. Call your radio stations and tell them to stop playing crap. Support these kids like Mo and the ones that keep country music as it should be.
I love Gene Watson and Mo Pitney 🎶🎶🎶💞🤗💞 Mo should be filling arenas because his voice is so good and PURE COUNTRY as is Gene Watson. I love Gene doing duets with Mo and also Rhonda Vincent . Their harmonies are so great and so beautiful and they are great singing alone. We need more of these 3 to fill COUNTRY RADIO WITH 💯 MILLION PERCENT PURE REAL COUNTRY MUSIC 🎶 🎶🎶 BY 3 OF THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS 💞🤗💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@genewatson9326 , Im Scottish Gene, always lived in Scotland. I'm 71, always been a country and western fan. I like rock and roll as well. I just heard your voice about 5 or 6 years ago and it brought tears to my eyes. It's heaven to me. Love it! I've only been to USA once , to new York for my 60th. I'll never stop listening to you 👌👌🥰🥰🥰
Every time I hear Mo sing I am taken back by the clarity of his voice, the smoothness and pronunciation is almost unheard of especially today. This man is clearly the best.!
Love Love Love this. Gene Watson is a classic, and Mo Pitney is a close second to him. We need so much more of this Country Music in our lives. I would love to meet both of them someday soon !
Gene you were my Father's favorite he loved you too pieces!! Went fishing every morning came back afternoon ate lunch!! Put your music on and took his nap God bless you!! He is with the angel,s in heaven now and I miss him so much God bless you love you
Kids these days do not know what The Heart of Country Singers are! Wish we had more coming up like Mo! Jon Pardi is someone that is doing great and I love his songs!
I saw Gene and his impeccable band in Linden, Texas on 05/20/23. Remarkably his pitch and vocal range is still pretty much intact. Lots of much younger performers haven't been blessed with that gift.
Gene you have done just perfect doing what you are doing where you are doing it. I can hear you as well from Texas as I can from Nashville! Because of this crazy thing called time and opportunity I will not likely have the privilege to see you in person but love the chance to hear you still with these other platforms. Teach that young Mr. Pitney as much as you can while you can. Mr. Pitney, listen long and hard!
