Laura reallly should've won an emmy for these scenes. She was incredible.

She was fantastic in these scenes. The words fell from her mouth with so much grief , anger ,and venom.

Laura Wright is a Beast! She is the only Carly I have ever cared about, and I would not be watching GH w/out her. She kicks ass in every scene. When the writing fails, leave it to LW to salvage the eppy! I just love watching her. She takes Carly wherever needed, and I enjoy her interpretation immensely! ANDREA

Eventhough Carly is not one of my favorite characters, LW should have been nominated for an Emmy with these scenes. This is one of her best scenes. I hope this year LW just finally gets an Emmy nom.

I remember this exact moment! I remember feeling such rage, anger, and agony right along with Carly! She was 100% right. N the AUDACITY of Sonny to bring Kate to the hospital, oh hell no. Just had to rewatch this seen to remind me of my deep hatred for Sonny.

This imo was the scene that cemented lw as carly ." I took this kid wherever I wanted to go & I justified that it was good for him when it was good for me " finally carly sums up the truth. I love her but that's what she did . Carly played by sarah brown moved that child from one man to the next . Tony to Jason to aj to sonny. All before he was 2

These are the scenes that I miss on GH. Great writing and the actors are so talented. Laure Wright played her scene and she didn't let Sonny off the hook for what he had done to Michael. She is great! She really plays her part and makes everybody else around her look good. She knows what she is doing and that calling Sonny out and not backing down off of him or anyone around her, man you talk about stand your grounds, she did that and more she put Sonny in his place. I want her to keep putting him in his place because he needs a woman like Carly to put him in check and not back down. She fights for her children the same way she fought him (Sonny) and Jason. So she wants back down and I love that about her. Yes, she's the right woman for Sonny Corinthos. She doesn't mind jacking him.

@Lakersgurlie I agree. Sarah, Tamara, and Laura are all talented in different ways. Laura is very strong actress and was incredible in these scenes. If you can enjoy all 3 actresses (minus the Carly before Laura) you can appreciate what they each bring to the table and how that adds to what the character of Carly has meant to GH over the years. Usually re-casts destroy soap characters, but with Carly it has kept her entertaining.

I could see all sides of this stories. I can see how Carly could easily blame Kate, but at the same time it’s Sonny’s responsibility to let Carly know that Kate was going to pick him up. That’s what any parent should do when their significant other is going to pick up their kid.

I love LW as Carly. But I would love to see Sarah is or Tamara do this scene

Well so much for Carly always having Sonny's back lol. Best "team in town" my a**. It's a bunch of BS along with this so called couple. They never should've had Sonny be Michael's father and dragged him into the whole Michael mess, a mess created by Carly and Jason. It should've been their's to deal with alone.

I love when jason said to sonny after this " you dont get it we don't get to be happy" so true u choose a life of murder crime and violence u will never be safe secure and happy. I hated that when Jake "died" they tried to pull the oh the mob is no more dangerous than anything u can die st any time

she has a right and a point especially about Sonny protecting Kate but I just think about all those times she told AJ he was a loser and that Sonny and Jason were better more stable alternatives and I certainly can't agree with that.

i like carson even when they are fighting they will always love each other no matter what tough times and easy ones carson forever.

he's more than used to it. plus, he shows his remorse in a different way... hurting himself drinking staying unbelievable quiet.. and then damage.

Why was there never a Lulu & Carly showdown, I really would've loved to see those two go at it.

Sonny was wrong all around the board here. I didn’t hate him tho. I still loved him. I think that’s why it hurt so much. I was so upset and so scared for Michael that all I could do was blame Sonny. Despite it, I couldn’t hate him so when Carly dished everything out at him, I felt it. The pain. The rage. The hatred. The fear. I wanted to be like Alexis here and tell Carly it’s okay that Sonny didn’t mean it. That it was an instinctive reaction. That neither of them are right here but neither of them are wrong either. Sonny DOES love his children and would do anything for them. HAS done anything for them. Seeing this again though and how done Carly was, just makes me wanna hug her.

Carly is the right woman for Sonny, she stands up to him. I love that about her and he knows that Carly is telling him the truth. Carly the young lady that plays her really plays her part, I mean she really let Sonny have it. What great acting and she plays her part so cool and she doesn't mind standing her ground especially when it comes to her children. I respect her character for that, but Sonny he knows she is right.

What Carly did to Tony Jones she should of lost custody right then!

Did she actually say she cheated on Jason with Sonny? Ok NO. I've been watching a very very long time and that is most certainly all in her crazy head. Jason was never her man. He wss briefly her lover when they were strangers and later his friend but they were not a couple even if Robin was officially out of the picture. Jason loved Michael and they co-parented you could say but they weren't in some loving relationship. Carly's something else

Rewatching this and Laura was great but I can see why in retrospect this wasn’t a hit with the Emmy voters. At the time, Laura wasn’t popular with Emmy voters. It wasn’t until she got the Susan Lucci edit. Let’s go back This was 2008 and the entire Soap community still had Carlys 2005 police station breakdown in their heads and I think it was a miss for this scene that the writers and directors honed in on a rehash of the SJB mama bear Carly. Unfortunately Laura has publicly said she never looked at 2001-2005 for character source material. However, The Tamara years were Carly’s best written years. In my opinion They still continue to be

I would have too. She has no right being there... I hate Kate. She reminds me of a character that the old sonny would have had nothing to do with! I think he would have slept with her to prove to him self he could but not get deeply involved with her. Like Alexis for example.......

The Zaccharras Johnny and Claudia are all right. Sonny started all this messed first. Remember Sonny and his men kidnapped Johnny and beat him up thinking that him and his sister had Michael, but Michael ran away on his own. And, I see why they had Michael shot to get revenge on Sonny. So Carly is right about not caring about his kids. Jason is more of a father than Sonny is.

That's what I despise about Kate. It's all "Sonny, Sonny, Sonny..." I cannot listen about Sonny anymore.

Where does she get off telling him hes not a good father!!! Laura Wright needs to learn the history of carly. That is something she would definitely not say to sonny !!! I am soo upset here was her time to kick azz and she she didnt. I could understand the part when she was furious at sonny for picking kate over michael. But she wright's take on Carly seems a little whinny to me

People don’t understand how Michael’s shooting changed everything. Sonny and Jason never trusted each other to the same extent after Michael’s shooting. Don’t get me wrong there will always be love, friendship and history between them as Brothers but it’s never been like it once was between them nor will it ever be.

GH was really depressing after this. I wish they would have not SORASED Michael but if they were going too then they should have had Michael in a coma for a couple of years. I wish then Carly would have admitted to Monica that she was wrong. Carly should have never let Sonny get close to Michael and Morgan again. I love Jason but the way they went about things with Michael was wrong, stupid and selfish. Michael is still paying the price as an adult with the Nelle situation. Nelle is Carly’s karma.

What a great line and major self reflection by carly " I did what was best for Me and said it was good for him." Nailed it perfectly . Sarah Brown's Carly used michael from conception first to tie Tony to her when she found at tony was going for custody and dumping her she ran to jason bc she was always in love with him not aj. Aj being his dad was an inconvenient fact . Once robin blew the aj lie apart she backstabbed jason to live a life of luxury with the qs. When an said ur free to go bit michael stays she no way would leave not bc cv if Michael but she was lazy selfish dudnt work she used michael and sold him and her as a package to the highest bidder. Sarah's carly was showed to not really be mother material . When she got home from ferncliff and jason took robin to the airport when Michael started crying in his room she rolled her eyes and said plz go back to sleep. Like all her vs about I gotta get out a here jason and see my baby . The second she was out she didnt want to take care of him . Robin even said why is she as always giving michael to u or leticia? I found that laura Wright and tamra had more maternal instincts as carly.
