I know Max Gail won an Emmy for his portrayal of Mike Corbin but I really wish he wins another one. I really liked towards the end when Sonny said his final goodbye to his Dad. Max Gail and GH in my opinion did a wonderful job at portraying a man who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and took the viewers through his progression as it got worse and how it affected not just Sonny but every person that Mike touched.
I cried!!! Very emotional. Eden has a wonderful voice. Mike made some bad choices in his life, but he made atonement for them in the end. He was loved by all he knew. Thanks for such an emotional song!!! It fit Mike perfectly.
My heart was breaking throughout the episode. Truly loved Mike. Seeing all the love and support he's being given here. Just beautiful. But Joss's performance set it over the top. Especially when Joss started crying. We'll miss you so much Mike.
What a beautiful service. Thanks for the memories. I'm really going to miss Mike. I wish they would have carried his story out longer, some people live for decades with Alzheimers. I see Mike, and think Wojo got really old, he looks more like Fish now. But he's still cute, love the smile. I hope the actor Max finds more work soon, he's too young to retire. There was so much that was wrong in the world and needed change, but it was still so special. And I hope to never wait in another gas line again! But have you noticed some of the stuff from that era is becoming in style again? The wife of one of my husband's friends had on platform shoes just like ones I had back in '76! I cracked up laughing. Then her daughter was wearing pants my friend had back in '83. Everything old becomes new again. I just wish record players and 45's would come back. Buying one/two songs (for $1 LOL), was nice. I know it's just seconds of each song, but the memories just come flooding back. Whether it's being with friends, at a dance, the roller rink, or just driving down the road; the flashback memory makes me smile like I haven't in years. Here in Central Florida we have a few oldies stations I listen to. There's one radio station that was bought a few years ago to play oldies. They were digging around the station and found a treasure trove of recordings of Casey Kasem's top 40 countdowns from the 70's. They play them on the weekends. What ever the day's date is, they find the same date in the archives and play that. So you never know if you'll get something from 1970 to 1979, or so. They've played songs I had completely forgotten about, or thought it was popular during a different year. The funny part to me is they are playing on 105.3 FM, back in the 70's we didn't have the .3 part, and the call letters used to be “WBJW 105”, so it was called “BJ105”. So you can imagine what the teenagers called it... BJ for a buck five. The new company is playing the old songs, and then Casey Kasem's voice on the weekends, for a little while it's like being back in the 70's. Then it's over again, and reality sets in. That was the most beautiful episode That 😍❤️ general hospital did how they did it I don't know when Jonslin sing that song and they showed a memory of Mike by that person that was sitting was beautiful felt sorry for Brooklyn cuz I know she wish she was singing that or let alone even a song for Mike it was a beautiful ceremony but as we all know it's a soap opera and mike left the show well I don't know it was a good story of him and sunny dealing with the Alzheimer's they both need to get an award just like on Young and the restless with Jack and his mom good storyline it shows what Alzheimer's is my aunt has it she's not bad at this time so general hospital writers you did a wonderful job on that service very sad it made me cry now we have to go back to the gangsters like Cyrus

This song was the perfect send-off for Max Gail aka Mike Corbin. Josslyn did an amazing job performing the song and remembering her grandfather. The funeral service itself was beautiful. I loved all the eulogies and remembrances.
Is this an original song or has it been done before I cant find it this is so beautiful my heart broke I cried made me think of my grammy she had alzheimer's and in the end she went the same way as Mike surrounded by her family 😭 and reminds me of my cousins funeral I stood up and read a note I wrote him after his passing and played a song beautiful

This came up on my feed and I miss how together the Corinthos family was back when Sonny's father passed away and they had his funeral. I believe Dante came back right after Mike's funeral too. This was before Sam dumped Jason and the bridge collapse that led to Sonny being presumed dead and Nina keeping him in Nixon Falls. Sam wants nothing to do with Jason, but she's an idiot too. Sonny is losing his mind and calling almost everyone a traitor. I feel no sympathy for either Sam or Sonny right now in their present situations. Dante deserves better than her. Sonny at some point will be all by himself and will have no one to blame but himself. Sadly both Brando and Dev have since been killed off the show.
