General Hospital sees Lulu Spencer's l(Emme Rylan) life hangs in the balance, with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) also facing potential death. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) may be forced to make a devastating choice. Lulu needs a liver transplant. As a potential donor, Sam McCall faces her own life-threatening situation on the ABC soap opera. With Sam and Dante deeply in love and co-parenting their children, the loss of Sam would be a devastating blow to Dante. And he may have to make the decision about the liver transplant.
GH also sees Sam's sister, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), is spiraling, convinced that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is responsible for Jagger's (Adam Harrington) death. As Kristina seeks revenge, Sam may be caught in the crossfire. The arrival of transplant doctor Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) changes everything on General Hospital.

Since Alexis is Sam's legal next of kin, I should think she'd make the decision if it comes to that unless Sam named Dante in an advance medical directive. Alexa Havens looks a lot more like Julie Berman than Emme Rylan does. I've never seen her that I recall, but glad to give her a chance and see what she does with the Lulu role.

I was thinking the same thing that Alexis would be the one to make the call instead of Dante, unless they signed some papers. I could see that being the case with him being a cop and she used to be or still is a private investigator (they rarely show her these days).

Sam should definely not qbe let go. She is a very likeable, and when Sam Spinnelli worked together as private investigators were some of the best scenes. I agree that Molly has been getting on my last nerve as a recast. Kristina was better upon Kristina's return. Please, I don't know how to petition GH, but I wish that they would keep Sam. There is no reason on earth that justifies firing such a good actress. Why do "new" writers seem to get rid of an actor just because they can? They need to be reminded of Sam's entire history with the show, a history that has made her a beloved character.

Donte having authority to make medical decisions for either one of them is just sloppy writing as you sometimes say. It just doesn't make any sense. He isn't married to either one of them. Sam and Lulu have multiple family members who can and should make medical decisions for them in case of emergency. I can however see the idea of Sam providing the liver transplant though.

Noone is invested in Lulu coming back to the show Keep Kelly Monaco on the show and keep Lulu in a coma. This is why GH is always in the bottom of the ratings bringing back all the old characters instead of writing for the ones on the show.

Lots of people are still wanting Liz and Jason together, while many others are TIRED of Jasam bc they are boring and there's no spark anymore, and there hasnt been for over a decade now. There hasn't been any "spark" between jasam since 2010. Liz and Jason bring 🔥 chemistry together and that's been proven, especially recently.

I think what happened was when Jason came back to general hospital the ratings were low and if you notice the chemistry with Sam and Jason were off and it was because of Sam and Sam has wanted to break up with Jason in the show for years she feels that she has more talent which I don't understand because the only reason why we look at you was because of Jason. And I think in my opinion the show wanted to put her back with Jason and I think she was not interested just my opinion

I think that the Lulu, Sam and Dante storyline would be a whole lot more interesting than having to kill off Sam The writers have already gotten rid of some actors , Jagger , his hit woman fake FBI agent, Scott, Valentin, Blaze , Finn Gregory , definitely Natalia could seriously be gone, this is a whole lot of discharged characters. maybe even more that I have forgotten, so why not keep Sam!Frank and the writers are missing a great opportunity for a interesting storyline , for Dante, Sam and Lulu!

I know Kelly is a great actor, and the writers is the one that made her characters different from what the fans liked so from that I don't want her to go and will miss her. I loved OLTL & still miss it. I would love to see some of their characters on GH. There are a lot of useless folks on the canvas thst could go to have salary for OLTL visits. I agree to a point. Sam's character is played out but I don't see the point of bringing back Lulu either. I know it's probably for Dante but I never liked them together. I rather have Dante with Sam. They are a better fit.

Why can’t Lulu wake up and get back to her life. With Nik in jail and Valentin on the run, who is looking after Cassidine affairs? It would’ve been great to see her step into the role as caretaker and then get involved with a new man. I’m tired of the tropes. Do something different! Is this too much to ask?

Also I’ve heard through another unreliable spoiler that Molly and TJ would become “instant” parents to Danny and Scout 🙄🙄🙄 REGARDLESS of what type of “present in their children’s lives” fathers they are deemed to be…Jason and Drew ARE ALIVE! Which one of them would give up custody to Molly & TJ???????? Don’t let Molly fool you, Molly is just as looney and unfit to parent a poodle 🐩 as Kristina is now! WHY would it be Dante's choice? Nope! That's not how it happens! Yeah they could have signed papers but, if not, it's up to Laura and Alexis to decide. They are killing off Sam, and just by a stroke of luck, she's a match for Lulu? That's stupid! And by the way, I guess Spinelli and Sam got away with their little covert operation, i.e., stealing Cates' ID to access FBI files. Can we PLEASE end the Molly, TJ, Kristina debacle?! I think Sam well end up on life support & during this days, Lulu will wakeup, giving dr's reason to believe she should be able to get a live from someone who passes. Sam's mother will be who makes the decision whether to take Sam off life support & Lulu to receive her liver. OR.......i still think there's a chance of Cyrus. Where is he? He had been at Lulu's beside daily, last we heard. They haven't shown him getting tested, which is odd, since they are chasing Lucky across the world & Cyrus is local. 🤔🤔

Now Belinda, WHY would Dante have to make that decision for eìther Lulu or Sam? He is not married to either of them. There is no way he could make any decisions for Lulu, their marriage was over for years while Dante was missing and Lulu was dating someone else when the bomb happened. Get Real GH!

Dante would make the decision to take Sam off life support if he is named in her medical directive. If Sami’s a match for Lulu, he would also make the decision to give Sam’s liver to her if he is named in the medical directive. He doesn’t need to be married to Lulu and he wouldn’t really be legally acting on her behalf. He would just be acting on Sam.
