Michael is her nephew by marriage and she was with Jason when they found Michael. So sit down

I can actually see the nuance here. But, after a massive 90s watch session I realize, Carly and AJ were friends once. He didn't start hating her randomly, what she did to him was calculating and cruel. And at the time she was irresponsible, dishonest, and vindictive (I know, I know her childhood was awful). The Quartermaines are thoroughly dysfunctional, but the custody situation with Michael was handled badly. In a perfect world Carly and AJ would have put their differences aside and shared custody. They weren't in love, fine, but even though biology's not everything you can't just decide a child's biological parent isn't their parent, on a whim. She didn't start lying about Michael's father entirely b/c of the Q's she wanted to hang on to Tony. Then that fell apart and Tony said she was unfit and AJ was suspicious and then she said Jason was the father. AJ was an addict, but when Carly met him he was trying. Neither Sonny, nor Carly, nor Jason, nor Aj are saints. Aj's an addict who screwed up a lot, Carly was a pathological liar when she hit town, and Jason and Sonny as charming as they can be are murderers. No one of these people are better than the other in my opinion.

Well i think storylines changed when sean left he and sarah browns carly had great chemistry they were good friends and i think if carly told aj about the baby right away he would have been supportive and fair , at the time she was pregnant they did nothing bad to eachother. I think once she drugged and dumped him in an alley and poured vodka on him he was rightfully very pissed off. As a father would u want ur child with an immature young woman not to mention pyscho to be ur sons mom? Carly during her pregnancy was all about holding onto tony jones . Once she found out tony was duping her until the baby was born she told him it was jasons. I truly believe if sean stayed she would have went to aj not jason . She had zero chemistry with billy. The show made a bad castimg choice. Billy played aj as a weasel. While seans aj was very melancholy and had low esteem but really was a decent good guy. Maybe they would have done a triangle with seans aj and jason and it would have been amazing and balanced whereas billys aj was no match for jason. Why they didnt recast a guy who looked like aj is beyond me. They recasted a guy 12 yrs older very short dark hair dark eyes while sean loomed like a ken doll or a super hot guy from malibu. Basically he looked like steve! The similarities are crazy in some scenes i thought steve looked exactly like sean
