General Hospital Twist: Jason & Ava - The New Couple We Need on GH Right Now!

General Hospital sees a wild twist when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) saves Ava Jerome (Maura West). Ava, usually the antagonist, found herself in dire need of rescue from Jason, an unlikely hero for her. The chemistry between the two leads viewers to wonder if a romantic relationship could be around the corner. Despite Jason’s history with Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst), Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), and Carly Corinthos-Davis (Laura Wright), Ava might just be the right woman for him.
This GH potential romance, however, could lead to some dramatic reactions from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly. Particularly, Carly’s reaction would be one to watch out for, given her past confession of jealousy over Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) closeness with Jason on General Hospital.

I have been watching GH for over 45 years, there has been nothing that has stopped me from being a loyal viewer. If they ever put Ava and Jason together as a couple, I would probably stop watching the show. That would be the stupidest storyline ever.

I don't like the Ava/Jason pairing either.... But if it happened I wouldn't stop watching... Been watching too many years to give it up now.. lol Through the years I've seen good bad & down right horrible storylines & I'm still watching.. MW has chemistry with everyone in my opinion, including SB..... That's just good acting, I think... But I don't see any love type chemistry between the two, if that makes sense..

People can be surprised all they want that Jason rescued Ava, but he had an ORDER from Sonny. He had a job. Did people forget that Jason is Sonny’s enforcer?? Don’t get it twisted. Jason would never ever do this to Sonny let alone to Carly because it was Ava that made Morgan think he was going insane & got killed.

@@vickywray7285 I wonder why Jason didn't tell Sonny that Ava messed with his Meds after the Pharmacist was told to lower the dosage. I think Jason should tell Sonny. He has the right to know. If Sonny eventually finds out about that and that Jason knew. Sonny might get pissed at Jason for not telling him and then, Sonny may have trust issues again with Jason. If Jason is going to keep important things like that from him, ya know.

She truly does! She always seems to be intrigued by the worst pairings options. When it comes to Jason, she either champions the ones that have zero spark/boring or are just disgusting to consider. Ava and Jason crossing paths in a storyline is fine, but not as a romance arch.

Jason’s loyalty to Sonny wouldn’t let him get involved with Ava after all the bad things she’s done to Sonny in recent months, as well as her past contribution to Morgan’s demise. Nevertheless, an Ava and Jason pairing would be less cringeworthy than Drew and Willow.

Jason only saved her to clear Kristina from those trumped up charges that Cates out on her. Kristina didn’t intentionally harm the baby it was an accident. I loved that Lucky flash back to a memory of him and Liz in yesterday's episode. I didn't see chemistry between them at all. Jason was just following orders so they could get Ava to recant her story. I'd like to see Ava and Ric together. They would make a good team against Sonny. Plus they deserve each other.

Britt is dead,leave her dead. We actually saw her dead in her mother's arms,we saw her lying on the slab in the morgue, we saw her lying in a coffin. She was in the end stages of Huntington Disease exacerbated by the poisonous hook. The GH writers and the actress went out of their way to show that Britt was Dead Dead. That's how they wanted it, so let's leave it as such. It would be cruel and heartless to the millions of people that are affected by this incurable disease,to pretend that some miraculous cure was found . Britt died,we saw the body for several days,leave Britt dead!!

1/3 uhh no that would have put him at 20 and her 60 when she was maybe 40-45 at the time. Maura West is currently 52 and Bryan Craig is 32. so even half would require him to be 26 right now.

Belinda, your "storyline" for Jason & Ava sounds too much like the current Drew/Willow storyline. I'd hope the GH writers wouldn't do that so soon, and it would devastate the fans if Jason "got with" the woman who was the cause of Morgan's demise. Let's have a new storyline for Jason, and a NEW "love of his life", instead of just a "bed partner"........JMHO
