I mean, yeah it’s either always humans on the defense killing aliens or aliens being killed by us. There’s rarely any sci-fi films where we get along with the aliens in peace.
In my first playthrough of stellaris i was the United Nations of Earth, and I was dedicated to making humanity peaceful, co-operative, and democratic. And it worked for centuries. That is until the fallen empires awoken. They put us through strife, brutally killing ⅓ of all humans. When we eventually won, 3 whole navies later, all Va'tah systems (a fallen empire of mushroom xenos) were under our control. Through our collective grief and trauma, we forgot peace. Democracy had failed to protect us. The Vanguard party took over. And the remaining Va'tah got what they deserved.
"Got what they deserved" You speak of aliens as if they're humans but slightly different. If it is something that actively contests our interstellar superiority, it must be destroyed, simple as that, no unnecessary edgy aesthetics or H*ler speeches. Simple objective outlook.
Peace is only option till you become a monster then you will be put to the sword and if humanity can we will make sure it is the same sword you came at us with. GLORY TO TERRA!
When I was in the cinema and heared this and saw what gesture the soldiers did, every single person looked around like "do we watch star wars or space n*zi"
If humans had an common enemy, we would get go that very fast, but with also the french and English varient The USA and Russia would be forced to move galaxys
I dont get why everyone sas the german version is better. As a german my self I have to say that the englisch version sounds way more powerfull than the german one
