Yes it was a great loss for the country, Maj Sudhir Walia AC when I read about him in the book and read some article on him I came to know what a man he was, always ready to lead him men from the front. That's why he volunteer to go to the Kargil war and joined his unit and went without acclimatization. I always wonder what is in the land of Palampur, Capt Vikram Batra PVC, Capt Saurabh Kalia. Shat Shat Naman is dharti ko.
