@@hubachecka If you want the light to interact, you'll need to use a different shader like the Principled BSDF. Sorry, I must have cut this part out. I then recommend adding a "color attribute" to the color channel AND emission, and playing around with Roughness and Specular because the light brings out the imperfections of the model. That's why it works best with organic scenes, like the food one. Good luck!
@@hubachecka If I want only to test before installing/login, how can I do so? Everywhere I checked it's either login or installing something before I even know if it fit my needs.
If you're having trouble getting the .PLY mesh format you might have to go to the Settings tab and scroll down to "Depthmap Extension" and check the box where it says "Save additional PLY file with 3D inpainted mesh." I had trouble with this and I don't think I am the only one.
This is easily the most inspiring thing I've seen in AI storytelling. My skillset is in Unreal so I may try a version in there, but this gets me so fired to make something like this! Amazing work!
Attention! The workflow for the Depth Plug in for Stable Diffusion has changed with a new update. Instead of .ply files it now creates .obj files by default. To be able to reproduce the workflow in this video you have to go to the settings in the Stable Diffusion WebUI and then to "Depth Map Extension" and check "Save additional PLY File with inpainted mesh". Have fun generating!
Hello, dear Mickmumpitz , can I ask a tehcnical question about Depth map OBJ, in Blender, when add ColorAttribute+ Emission to surface shader, delete the light, why the color in Render Mode is slightly lighter (less satuated) than the viewport Shading(in Flat + Attribute Color mode ， this is exactly looks like the original image)
and How to make it possible to make it interact with lightning, I tried many ways, no good result, and the mesh seems have messy textures I don't know what is that, is there a special trick for this work flow, your video looks so natually good.
Awesome video. Does anyone knows how to create a PLY file? No option for me in the GUI. So far I can only Generate simple 3D mesh, which generates .obj file instead.

I've had that A1111 extension installed for a couple weeks, and I didn't realize the "Generate 3D in painted mesh" checkbox was there... LOL.... This is sooooooo cool!!!.... I followed along, and had a model in Blender in just 10 min total from hitting "generate". And I only have an i5 with a nvidia 1060GTX 6GB. Slow, but not as "slooooow" as I was expecting. So glad I found this video.

I want to include Talking Heads / Artificial Actors (D:ID Studio, HeyGen) to read scripts and react to the player's decision. I think most people will agree that animation in the traditional sense has characters moving around the set and talking to others..., this is not animation, this is more of a showcase for concept artists. It drives me nuts to have my friends say 'omg cg animation is making animation"....,, not yet!
Man this is awesome. More than a short film, I want make a loop animation from a static image of an ai generated or a landscape image, nice to use as background for anything, a music video or just to watch it
