The final moto of the week at the 2020 Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s was a nail bitter between Vincent Wey and Seth Dennis in the 65cc (10-11) class. They entered tied for the championship as both had 1-3 motos entering Saturday. We followed Vincent, and his dad, former pro Nick Wey, to give you a glimpse of what championship pressure feels like at the Ranch.

That father has the perfect amount of tough love mixed with compassion. The ability to make is son truly think about what he is saying. props to him. the team moms need to chill out with the nurturing tho, that will soften him up too much imo. The father is on point tho.

It's cool as hell to see the guys with the younger kids coming up & how they go through motion's during such a high caliber race. I remember being nervous as hell & having so much anxiety & pressure leading up to my races. Can't hide years of experience!

Well done champion, you gave them a run for there money mate. Can't win them all brother. You got the bike over the finished line, you want to see that checked flag. Not in the back of a meat wagon. Ambulance. Australian slang. All that matters, is your having fun. Stop riding if it's not fun. My best memories of our family was racing. We all still miss it. Enjoy this moment Mate.

65 kids always amazed how much they sent it. Also Wey isn't wrong. Bad scheduling put the 45+ dudes between 65s and supermini

Nick is a good guy. I raced with him back 20 years ago. I hope his son is gonna be the future answer to the Deegans and all their "better than you" attitudes.
