I hope you all enjoy this epic update and for those who are sending me big reports through the RU-vid comments section I appreciate your help but it’s better to submit it to the official generation zero bug tracker so that everything is in one place and easy to find and fix. Hey Tenebris, just wanted to say, if you have rounds that can penetrate armour (for any gun whatsoever, or even the bow), or if the armour around the head has been destroyed, aim for the head instead of the fuel cells. As someone who's modded the game pretty extensively I can confirm that headshots have the single highest damage multiplier of any component in the game at 300%, even when compared to fuel cells

WOAH! the generation zero developers have been doing good with their recent updates! all i've ever wanted in the game was a flamethrower and another melee! and look at the sight on that bow! so cool, the 40 gb update's so worth it!

i hope we get a German Weapon pack soon as well. i would love the MG3 in the game as well as the H&K G36 with all it's variants, including the DMR, LMG and Carbine variants. would be nice to have some German Pistols as well. and hopefully we'll get some Vintage Swedish WW2 weapons as well, like the swedish like the Gevär m/96 with all it's variants as well! we already have the M45, but the swedish pistol, the M40 would be a nice addition as well!

I genuinely believe that the Make 'em Count skill (more damage by tapping an auto weapon instead of holding it full auto) actually increases the flamethrower's damage. I tried it with a new character and it kills robots faster on average. I can tell by the amount of napalm I spent and seems like it does the job better.

The flamethrowers actual use is to melt/rip off armor easily allowing other weapons to get in big blows

Just ome back to this game after nearly a year of not playing and loving it. However, i've tried using the resistance bow, doesn't matter whether i am in cover and out of sight with no machines able to see me, no markers on the screen showing they've noticed me, even when they've got their backs turned to me, the moment i fire a flare arrow they all converge on me without fail, even the machines behind the houses etc.

Also, the Flamethrower looks like fun... but can u use it tactical too? Laying a Wildfire to close in Mashines and "Let them Burn"? Burning down Buildings? Lay out a Line of Explosive Tanks or Fuel Tanks and use the Flamethrower as igniter? Are you far away enough, when u use the Flame Thrower near a Tank Station? (I know, bad Idea xD ) Are this Gas Tanks or Fuel Tanks you use? And if it is Fuel, will the Flames swim on the Water? (I don't think so myself but why not? ^^ )

Any suggestions on how I can improve performance on of? I have AMD 8350 eight core 16gb ram Gtx1050 Everything was smooth until the Russian bots were added to the game.

Well, now that the pitchfork has been added, I can live my dream of making a bayonet charge against enemy machines! Also, seeing the bow in action, I think I can vibe with it. Having flare arrows makes it extremely useful for combat w/ friends. Having one dude constantly distracting the machines while the others get kills is gonna be a powerful strategy. And the flamethrower... it's cool but I don't see myself using it a whole ton outside of base assaults just cause I'm tired of wasting HEDP on armies of runners.

@@theshermantanker7043 imagine if they do that with a Custom Animation depending on the enemy you charge as you hit them! they should in that case also add a skill line that is based on Melee weapons as well, which would round up nicely with all the Melee weapons that are in the game already.

well if i am not wrong 3 arrows per second is the Record 4 Arrow Shooting with a bow but this comes 2 the way someone loads and Shoots the Arrows. aka 3 Arrows per sec upscale 2 a min 180 arrows XD well we will never se somone running arround with 200 Arrows in real but this is a number

That is apparently planned, even if the devs haven't mentioned it yet. If you yeet yourself over to it, you get reset back into the map with a message on screen saying "you don't own this content" or something like that.

Why does the 5 crown flamethrower do so much less damage than the 4 crown? It sacrifices lots of damage for handling in my opinion not worth it.

I never bought the weapons packs because I still haven't found the experimental LMG. I've been playing the game since it came out did all the main content and most of the side stuff but never got the experimental LMG. I figured if.i got the weapons pack it will decrease my chances. If I farmed the reaper spawning in a freinds game while reaper was dead and looting multiple experimental and still never got it. Shits really rare in this game so I kinda gave up on the game this past year. I played it once this year. I have high hopes for it but disappointed because of that one experimental LMG I never got.

While the flamethrower isn't fantastic for the big machines, I can see it really helping out new players to the game! It absolutely tears apart prototype doggos and ticks, and for how cheap the fuel is, that means it might just be the go-to for new players/low level characters! As for the Bow and Pitch fork? Going to be permanent staples on my stealth build from now on! Thanks for the in depth look at these, Tenebris!

@@benurban8875 yes, still hoping for the day we either get a resistance outpost or Russian outpost that you get waved into and you can do all the normal inventory stuff and crafting and there is also like bartering.

So the bows are OP, but the S21 and the Kotenok are like BB guns?

They committed themselves to nerfing the 7.62 Nato round, so they can't suddenly bump it back up again. The Kotenok with shock ammo works as a sniper rifle.

@@fberdf I agree - I bought it because I wanted the RPG7, which to me was worth it on its own (I could never get on with that 84mm). For the S21 pack, I wanted the grenade launcher, which is the most fun weapon in the game. I'll buy the next one for the bow! I never bought the first American weapons pack, 'cos there was nothing I wanted. I don't care how cool the weapon twirl is! Curiously, I levelled up a new character, and when he reached maturity, I thought I'd go back to my original, only to find that the weapon load-out was identical!

@@RO8s Actually the N60 its the best LMG, and the most "cool", the pistol is very good and has an interesting reload animation.

@@fberdf Yeah, the animations I don't care about! I use the 6* machine gun, 'cos it clears up the dogs by itself, while I'm focussing on the Hunters. So I didn't buy that. The 5.56 round in the game is useless, so I left the whole pack on the shelf, but I bought all the other DLCs. What's the good bit about the N60?

You know I would really like to know what they were thinking I mean a bow and a pitchfork what is that going to do against a steel robot. I will definitely not be buying that DLC dumb as hell in my opinion
