Prices won't be lower, actually they launched Gen3 Turbo which is faster and eats less credits. It costs half the amount of credits to generate. But there is a trade off in quality and options with this mode.
@@High-Tech-Geek yep I do agree. I much prefer to use kling actually. To me it's better than Gen3 : cheaper, same quality (when you're on a paid subscription), takes all aspects ratio, understand your prompts better, less credits burn for nothing, etc

Burned up a lot of credits trying to get a static shot... Wouldn't do it. It;s great fun and it's amazing, but it's also quite expensive. Great stuf though. Thnx!
Great video. You mentioned getting more into sound design; just a quick note: Adding some background music to this video would have made it even better. (No BGM was surprisingly noticeable.)

Using Runway Gen-3, with Capcut is great for music videos as well. Pretty cool that you really don't need any of the top tier movie production studio equipment, experience, nor the skills to produce something more professional than what Hollywood can do. If Hollywood can do it, you can do it better and for a much more affordable cost. Then, you can charge them twice if not three times as much for your works, skills, knowledge, and for your highly valuable time.
Cool video. But every time I try to generate a horror scene, I get a message: This content was flagged. I tried to do it in the free version. will the restrictions be removed in the unlimited plan?
As a VFX and 3D professional, I was happy to see this video and realize that AI still has a long way to go before it becomes commercially viable. It all seemed a bit amateurish and I'm sure no client would spend thousands of dollars on amateur creations made with AI. I also realized that it is a tiring and expensive process. It requires many attempts and each one costs a few credits in dollars, in addition to the time to see that the result is not as good as you wanted, it must be frustrating. But thanks for the great video.
What is the maximum time on the ml runway - that is, the length of a video/shorts that they are able to generate? I joined the Free plan to see how it works.
If I upload a picture to transform into the second picture I choose, will it altar the way the pictures look at the beginning and end or will they stay the same. That’s the issue I’ve been running into

Yep you can’t create anything. Was constantly bleing blocked with no explicit content. Then I tried one with two models sucking a banana and it worked 😂. Like wtf where is the logic/consistency. In its current phase it’s almost unusable.
2:31 How else could I have made that shot this easy? Shoot it with a green screen behind the door, key it out and insert a video animation of the universe. At least it wouldn't jump and the color/light wouldn't suddenly change, because the AI thought it should.

Right now it is not worth it. It creates 70% unusable content. Lipsync NEVER works. It restricts stuff where there is absolutely no reason for. Way to expensive. IF you are lucky and it gets something right, it is quite good. But no way! I hope they improve their platform. Luma DreamMachine all the way.
Yep I agree. Constant errors or blocking content for absolutely no reason makes it quite tiresome to work with. The price would be ok if those issues were fixed a bit.
I was really wondering sometime in are these people okay, I mean those who think every amazing and powerful tool should be free, how is that possible? how is it will develop without funding without money and resources and a lot of people working on it and investing a lot of money and time in it, how dare you to expect it to be free, that's impossible because it's against logic
Not worth the price, by the time you get the effect you are looking for, your credits are gone faster than expected. Even the simplest algorithm that Gen-2 offers to generate animations from images doesn't do well, literally every 4 or 5 animations are usable, the rest go in the bin. When I asked on discord if they can improve this algorithm, they told me no, but I can buy a more expensive subscription lmao. This is making a laughing stock of the customer. If Runway is the best on the market then imagine how rubbish the competition must be.
