Hey eerrrrbody, I am so happy dude#1 was able to get things up and running before the snow came. He is such a cheerful person. I love the way you support his efforts. That is such a great lesson to all spouses. I live in Alabama and we are expecting snow on Sunday,so we are bracing for that. I love snow, but people here can’t drive on it very well. I pray that you guys don’t get an over abundance amount of snow also. Be safe !

Some areas here got up to 16 inches of snow ❄️ that day. Isn't it great to have a man that can do stuff? Shout out to Dude #1, the Real MVP!!!!🏆🏅🐐🐐🐐
Many have cut holes on each side of the generator housing and added attic fan on one side and the other side has a vent. Many videos on YT that explain how to do it. Your husband has the skills to make it happen.

Good morning! Dude #1 and your brother did a great job! 👏 Dude #1 is really skilled and talented and built a nice generator house. 🏠 We lost power 🔋 for 3 days a couple years ago here in Louisiana. It was horrible! We lost over $700 worth of food because we didn't have own a generator! 😧 (We emptied out our freezer and gave all our beef, poultry, pork, fish and seafood along with bags of frozen vegetables to a neighbor while still frozen!) 😔During the Outage we were able to purchase one online because every retail store was sold out, in Louisiana and Texas! 😲 Our insurance reimbursed us $500 for the loss of food, so that was good! We've had to use it a couple times and boy were we glad to have it! 🥰 Thanks for sharing your journey!

This is just too coincidental. I was just talking with someone this week about my back-up generator that I had installed some years back after a storm that knocked out power for four - yes, count 'em 1-2-3-4 days in July in southern NJ. It cost a small fortune, but I was channeling Scarlett O'Hara - "I'll never be sweltering in a dark house with no hot water again". The insurance company paid for a few days in a hotel, but it was still disruptive. Mine kicks on for a self- check every other week and will kick on automatically if it detects a power outage. I consider it some of the best money I ever spent. It's been awhile since we've had an outage, but I'd rather have it and not need it than the other way around, and I love my Generac. Enjoy. I understand completely.
Duck Power...wow haven't heard that in 9 yrs...I lived in Durham for 15 yrs..loved it...I was there when Durham and Raleigh power went out for a wk....2008 in February...talk about cold
Only in NC you can go thru all 4 seasons within 24-48 hours. Jan 1st beautiful weather, Jan. 3rd snow!! 😂 Let’s see what we are going to get Sunday in the Raleigh Durham area🤷🏽♀️. Keep warm!!
Dude #1 you did a fantastic job on that generator and house! I so wish we had one of those. We have 3 wheelchair bound people in one house and we just have to do a LOT of praying that the lights don't go out. 🙏❤
Oh what part of NC y'all live in 80 degrees one day and snow the next. But thanks goodness for your generator and dude#1 to get it going. We just brought a second hand small generator started it up a couple of times but have not actually used it, so fingers crossed😳.

Hi Donna I'm in Atlanta and we are expecting wintry weather Sunday anybody from GA should know our worse winter is in January and February and we don't have a generator 😂😂😂 so pray for me because I'm going through a health issue and I stay cold

Praise God for dude#1 I live in cleveland ohio and we are blessed to not have any snow yet "I'll say accumulations " but we're suppose to get 6 to 8 inches today 😵 I really hate it!!! So enjoy and stay safe and healthy...
