Thank you for comment ... By using a socket, I means to make it easy to unplug or plug the generator when its needed. Also, we can change the side of the male connector and female connector to better protection. The female power socket can be use on the generator side.
Would not recommend 1st option as this would energies the downed grid line repair works would be working on, and your generator would blow up if teh grid came back on. The plugs type as pointed out below is the wrong sex. A manual or auto change over switch would be far safer!

@@mangalaabewardana197 as said by EL Tronic above, you’d want the female side on the generator, so that if the generator is unplugged, you don’t have live conductors exposed. Otherwise you could run that generator and use the end of the lead as a cattle prod.
@@tflemming287 no one's touches the terminal for no reason when the genarator is ON. so why someone unplug the connector when generator is turns on and touch the terminal. 😂
