Congratulations to Genesis main core for retaking the Sunspire World Record, and successfully defending the sweep of all trial records in the U40 patch. This score was taken in just a week of prog, and is 10s faster than the record set just previously by New Watch in the same patch (U40). This is a POV of the full run.
It was a pretty good run considering it was the first week of progging Sunspire for several members not in Genesis SC, and we also adopted some new strats. I was really sick for the last 2 weeks of the patch, so I apologize for the constant coughing, muting and unmuting, as well as poor gameplay.
Since I've been asked this before, I wanted to clarify that I am not using any macros or addons that perform inputs that automate the cancelling of mist form, since that is against the TOS. I am cancelling mistforms manually via a keybind. You can see a few examples of failed mist form cancels starting at 10:10, which would never happen using an addon/macro.

Since someone asked, I'm using an absorb stamina enchant on my ice staff to proc minor breach instantly when Lokke lands. We don't have a frost wall in the group, and cruxweaver procs can take a few seconds to kick in.

On Nahvii, I was tanking both the boss and the statues, and was forced to build a bit tankier to hold all the adds for a period of time to start the fight as the whole group gets pulled in. I also opted to use Frost Clench over Inner Beast to allow the sorc DD - who already has a taunt, to taunt Nahvii to start each phase for a damage boost (he forgot to use spell power pots this run though), which nuked my damage and sustain quite a bit. Statue positioning was pretty bad; might opt for use of wings in the future for better positioning of them during fire storm phases.
